I admit, it sucks to spend $300 bucks to fill up my boat and burn throught the fuel at 100 MPH or $150 in my truck, but I am not bitching about about.

Its just another blame game on Obama's part. Although he brings up fact and statistics, he blames the speculators and suggests to put more "Cops on the beat" to keep people from energy trading while trying to relate the problem to what happened with Enron. This must just be another "Job Creation" measure...lol. What a joke!

And at the same time forgetting that it was he who blamed Bush for high fuel prices saying it was a presidents failure to control energy prices. But I guess that all changes once it is now he who is squatting in the WH.
If you voted for Obama to prove you were not racist, then you better find someone else to vote for to prove your not stupid.

He can't blame the speculators because they were alive and well - trading just like today back when prices were well below $2. per gallon at the pump. Another failed attempt by the empty suit with no real answers.

What a hypocrite. I watched his motorcade leave the airport in Columbia. I stopped counting at 20 large SUVs plus his limo. I wish I had a dime for every gallon of jet A he has burned through AF1. I would be one of the rich elites cvx and Z loathe.

#1 Why was he in Columbia???

#2 I'm shocked Columbia has an airport much less capable of landing a 747???? I'm guessing he landed at Barksdale and used Marine 1 to go to Columbia?

Yep huge waste of a lot of money with all those people and ferrying them from place to place.

I remember when Clinton spoke at Grambling's graduation in 1999. Air Force One into Barksdale (Shreveport), Marine One to Louisiana Tech's practice field (Ruston), then Cadillac One to Grambling. No idea why they didn't land Marine One in Grambling instead of risking the hubcaps being stolen off Cadillac One in Grambling.

WTF? Seriously, 2MM, why? Why would I be interested in #1 wasting my time reading about him and #2 contributing money to him by buying the waste of paper?

Also, Forkin' is in North Louisiana so I assumed since he saw the motorcade, he meant Columbia, LA and not the country. It's a small town in rural Louisiana population 477. If it tells you how far out in the boonies it is, even with the small population, it is the parish seat of Caldwell Parish which is 500+ square miles. I doubt he will find many supporters there.

    That's just shameful.

No self respecting crack head I ever knew would be caught dead with a "gator" that busted up!
That comes from loaning it out.

Fuel prices WILL, IN FACT, be a major issue in the upcoming election. There will be no escaping that.

O was in Columbia the country for the "conference of the Americas" while the SS guys were getting hookers.
O's stupid speech was a warning shot. He set the stage to take credit if gas goes down. Or he can spend the summer dragging fatcats to DC for hearings.

They can double up as the hearings for Fast and Furious and Solyndra are already in progress.

Gas is so expensive because Obama keeps raising taxes on gas, and raising taxes on the rich.....Also, he hasn't continued all the drilling that Bush started.....Why can't we go back to the good old days when Bush/Cheney just charged everything on a credit card........whoops....did the credit card get pulled? Maybe Obama could go, Hat-in-hand to China and ask for more money like Bush did.....Or maybe he could make nice with the Saudi royal family like BUsh did.....
