Ahhhh, Yes. Another split the vote tactic. That will be Ozero's only chance at winning. He cannot run on his record, nobody is stupid enough to believe he has a record to run on. Even the deadbeats that was "Gonna get Obama money....from his stash" "He gonna pay my gas bill...He gonna pay my mortgage" You think Ozero has secured their votes? Some will only because hes black, not because he did anything for them except blow alot of smoke up those people's asses. So his only ace in the hole is split the vote like Clinton did.

actually, it was perot that split the vote...

zombie, if you're gonna campaign for somebody, you should at least add his campaign slogan to your footer.

since i refuse to watch zomblinks, is this gary "big hands" johnson, former defensive tackle for the chargers??? that would be cool...

He likes Gary Johnson only because Johnson is for legalizing pot smoking and others recreational drugs.

Yep...It was but how does anyone know he wasn't in the tank for Clinton? Perot knew he couldn't win and he knew that any vote for him was a vote that didn't go to Bush. Clinton won with about 43% of the vote, the lowest in history. Perot knew damn well a lefty was not going to vote for him, only the righties. It stunk then and it stinks just as bad now as I see the same thing happening for 2012.

Alot can be said about Gary Johnson, but a vote splitter he's not. He truely feels he got the cold shoulder from the GOP. He feels the GOP doesn't represent what the true feelings of the base are. Gary is a very honest man and has alot of integrity. Unfortunately I think he has to much to run on the national level. His stance on marijuana is moot, but that's what's always brought up. If you've ever heard him actually talk about drugs it makes alot of sense. Unfortunately that's not what people hear. There's not a whole lot I don't agree with Gary on, but the one area we are completely polar opposites is his stance on the military and his views on foreign policy. I've known him personally for many years and done business with him on countless occasions. He's one of the handfull of people I'd do any size project with little more than a handshake.

I'm not implying Johnson is out to split the vote but I have my doubts about Paul. He is another that knows he can't win but stays in the race because he can and to make a statement, exactly what that statement is I don't know. My thoughts are that a 3rd party candidate might surface concealed as a hard line conservative and split the Republican vote, This is Ozero's only chance of winning. We are stuck with Romney only because he has the blessing of the DC Beltway Republicans. These are the same people that would rather lose elections than give up their power in DC. They do NOT have the grass root Republican's interest in mind, but just to maintain their hold on power. Win, lose or draw is fine with them as long as they maintain the status quo. A good example is their disdain for the TEA party. They have gone out of their way to degrade, discredit and insult these people almost as much as the Dems. That does not sound like anyone who has conservative values at heart.

I didn't take it that way. Anyway we look at it, a candidate like Johnson, or anybody remotely conservative for that matter is a vote splitter. I think you're correct as well on how the GOP establishment has handled the "tea party". Most of the people I associate with and hang out with are conservative leaning. No surprise there. It's amazing for me to see the wind taken out of the sails so to speak with those that were so gung ho just a few short months ago. Only time will tell if Romney can energize the base which he will desperately need. I don't think that will happen. The only saving grace for him may be there's just as much disgust on the other side and they'll stay away from the voting booths as well.

Seems the recent Tea Party political winners you sent to Washington to fix things are now being wined and dined by the Washington lobby establishment who don't really want things fixed! ........Do you grass roots Tea Party folks smell a sellout coming ? Washington is a toxic dump of corruption that few politicans can withstand for very long.

What is going on there Z? The article, like so many other articles is full of speculation and no substance. They are slanted to the what ever the point the author is trying to make. It gets old reading OP ed from people with an agenda. Try this, find all the corrupt voting all the people on that list did. Show us the correlation between the money they received and the votes they cast and then you'll have my full attention. You know like the votes Charley Rangel sells to protect his slums. Or Pelosi makes so her BIL can make millions from government loans for his green energy business, or the inside trading she is privy to so she and others can get rich from information that would send you or I to prison for having or using. Or the slush fund Obama has called a stimulus package to repay his donors. You know, follow the money and then report back with the corruption. Receiving donations is what drives all politicians.
I will give you that there is some suspicious bed partners, but until you can show that they are selling votes, there's not much to it.
