The president lied and said it was not a "TAX". It's a tax. This thing is so convoluted. What a joke !!

One step closer to socialize medicine. Insurance premiums will continue to go up. Businesses will eventually drop coverage and opt for the fine putting more people on the government plan (definitely not the same plan that congress has). Insurance companies will end up costing too much to be in business. Government will have to step in and take over.
The ramifications on the economy is going to play out after the election. Look for a huge contraction in the economy and more companies going offshore.

I already wrote Keven McCarthy a long letter which I forgot to copy

I sent this to both Boxer and Feinstein:

    "Senator,

I recently had my hip replaced using my wife's PPO insurance. As this was major surgery, I wanted a second opinion.

I went to the VA for a second opinion on my hip replacement; I had a primary surgeon and full coverage insurance here in Bakersfield, but as this was major surgery, I wanted another look at the need. The response? "You are too young". This was without even looking at the MRI. I asked him to at least look at the MRI I provided, and he verified that I needed a new hip in the near future, but based upon the health care allocations, I was too young.

That is what is in store for everyone now ;-(

As it turns out, if I had delayed much longer, my muscles would have atrophied even further than they did, and I'd have a much longer recovery. If I only had government health care, I would still be waiting. This is what Obamacare will bring to everyone, lowered health care standards, and allocated medical procedures. Please re-look at this horrible legislation, reach across the aisle, and help the people of California by undoing it.

    Thank you."

Sorry hkunz. Writing to Boxer and Feinstien is a waste of time. The are two of the biggest Socialist in the country. But yes. We must keep writing them so we can have a clear conscience. God have mercy on us all.

This is a lean towards youthansia. Your age will become a factor on whether the government should let you live....among a number of other things.

With $500B in cuts to medicare, you don't think that they'll be rationing that? Doctors have already said that they'll be opting out of medicare coverage. So where are the seniors going to go? And if they do find a doctor, what is the government going to cover. They have cut the care of those that spent their lives paying into medicare to pay for those that have taken the easy way through life. Add to that another $500B in taxes.

Fox News is reporting part of the ruling is states can opt out without getting medicaid cuts. I can see most opting out & the good part about this is now only the deaf & blind doesn't see how obama lied about this. Didn't Clinton get impeached for lying?
