Default So Now It's A Tax

Even though it was argued that it was not.

Will the new tax process have to be followed now? You can't pass something through going around the new tax process calling it a mandate and once it's done change your mind and say it's a tax.

Surely they don't have the buy in and HP to make it stick as a tax.

Wait until they take over healthcare completely. - BROKE
Everything this administration touches will be broke.

GM is selling out to China little by little. A lot of the supply companies have just been purchased by the Chinese. Obama is going to ensure that there is no manufacturing in the US. He's claiming that manufacturing is returning, but I can tell you that we are sending more raw materials to China for manufacturing. Those companies he claims are increasing are actually running in the red right now except for the ones who receive or tax money.

I'm serious. SC ruled it would fly as a tax. Can't just waive the magic wand it's a new tax. Has to go through the new tax process now?

It SHOULD HAVE TO. But remeber who is sitting in the Oval Office. He may just pull another EO out of ass and make it so. Then its back to the SC to have his EO shoved back up his ass because its unConstitutional. He will NEVER get the tax passed the congress even if his sorry ass is re-elected. He has no clue, but if his sorry ass is re-elected, he will be the first second term POTUS that could be deemed a lame duck as early as Nov. Everything he even remotely considers passing will have to be via an EO. He is just too stupid, like most of the dimbulbs on this forum, to realize it. But I seriously don't think the smug bastard cares.

The SC ruled that the individual mandate is not a tax. According to them, the fine you will have to pay if you don't have health insurance is considered a tax, and that's why it all comes under the congressional power to tax.

OBAMA: No, no. B-b-but George y-y-y-you can't just make up that language and decide that that's called a tax increase.
STEPHANOPOULOS: I don't think I'm making it up. Merriam-Webster Dictionary: "Tax: A charge, usually of money, imposed by authority --
    OBAMA: (snickering)
STEPHANOPOULOS: -- on persons or property for public purposes."
OBAMA: George, the fact that you looked up Miriam's dictionary (sic), the definition of tax increase indicates to me that you're stretching a little bit right now. Otherwise you wouldn'ta gone to the dictionary to check on the definition! I mean --
    STEPHANOPOULOS: Well, no.
OBAMA: If -- if what you're saying is --
STEPHANOPOULOS: I wanted to check for myself, but your critics say it is a tax increase.
OBAMA: My critics say everything's a tax increase! My critics say that I'm taking over, uhh, every sector of the economy. You know that! Uh, eh, eh... Look, we can have a legitimate debate about whether or not we're gonna have an individual mandate or not but --
STEPHANOPOULOS: But you reject that it's a tax increase?
OBAMA: I absolutely reject that notion.

The Kenyan promised it would only cost $900 billion when he touted it behind closed doors for super-majority passage.
The CBO now estimates it will cost at least $1.76 Trillion. Whoops?

Life is all about ass, you're either covering it, hauling it, laughing it off, kicking it, kissing it, busting it, trying to get a piece of it, or behaving like one.

It's OK though since over 1200 organizations (mostly unions and other guaranteed dem voting groups) have already been granted their exemptions from this excellent legislation.

And don't forget the muzzies are exempt under sharia law, but the Catholic hospitals and schools are not exempt from supplying birth control to collage sluts.

but but but, the sc ignored one of their own rulings that a tax can not be argued by the supremes unless it exits, someone has allready been taxed and they now have standing to petition the court, seems that didn't happen here? Taxes will not be collected for healthcare untill 2014.
