In expected fashion, California passes the Anti-Arizona immigration bill.

So I wonder if Holder and the DOJ will be suing California for trumping federal laws?

That's good for Arizona and all the surrounding states as the illegals will now leave for there for the free handouts. Unfortunately where won;t be any money or jobs in California!

Sorry Doc, here in Cali. we are dominated by the incompetent libs.
I understand the legislature just passed the building of the first leg of the high speed rail in the valley. It goes from no where (Madera) to no where (Corchran). Billions being spent that we don't have.

But Joe...You are looking at this all wrong. This isn't about HS rail, it isn't about mass transportation or even a jobs program. This is a monument to Jerry Brown and Liberalism. Just think....If the Bay Bridge has taken 20+ years to build and is billions of dollars over budget, made with inferior steel of questionable quality [I won't mention where it came from] Welded by unskilled, unqualified foreign workers, again I won't metion where they are from, inspected by people who were told to "look the other way or you will be unemployed" imagine what a boondoggle this eternal monument to government failure will be. A train from nowhere, going to nowhere and filled with empty seats of riders that never were who are also going nowhere. When this atrocity finally see passenger service [some time in 2225] look for the cardboard cutouts of "people" in the windows.

Yes, I see now. The rail system will be put out to bid , resulting in a low bid from China. You are so right!

Every so often I start to miss living in California, but then I visit family and can't wait to leave. I find that I miss the California of my youth, not the California that it has become today.
I'm not sure how Ol' Moonbeam is going to pay for all his boondoggles. He's going to be raising taxes even more, catering to illegals and the poor, and driving businesses out. No revenue but high taxes. Green jobs, green policies, transit boondoggles, government jobs, high taxes, high welfare, amnesty for illegals, ect.
Funny thing is, it's the same policies that Obama is implementing. It hasn't worked for California, what makes these idiots think it'll work for the US?

California currently pays over $1.5 Billion dollars annually to over 1.6 Million illegal aliens. This bill will most assuredly increase those numbers. Keep voting in those liberals California. It's working out so well for your state.

    Default Seems to me...

It seems to me that a right, er ah, a correct thinking administration would be suing Cal and withholding Federal assistance money from any state that openly thumbs there nose at Federal immigration laws... It's one thing to read more into a law, Az and other states, or denounce, and openly announce you're going to ignore a law altogether..... Maybe when we get a real AG he/she will go after Cal harder than the current imposter is going after Az.....
