    Default Really??

Seems to me that obama would be the very last person bringing up anyone's "background" since his is shady at best...... How about that skinny turd with poor basketball skills show the way by opening up HIS background for all to see???? I'd personally like to see the timeline when he was living at Bill Ayers' house and going to school..... Or when he traveled to Pakistan at a time US citizens were not allowed to???? Or, why he has a Social Security number issued in Ct., and he never lived/went there???...

Just a liberal using a tragedy to their advantage. Liberal Rule Book, page 2003.

Lets make a deal with Ozero...We'll run tighter background checks for guns if we can have citizens show a picture ID before voting.

A tighter background check would have done nothing (kind of like Ram and Zombie at work) to stop this from happening. It's not the current regulations. Most criminals don't buy legally anyways. If you put tighter restrictions on gun purchases, it just means legitimate buyers won't be able to buy them. The criminals will continue to get them. You can ban all the guns you want in the US (I don't support this by the way) but you won't be able to stop the black market. You just create a need for smuggling. We can't stop drugs and illegals from coming into the country, You think you're going to stop guns?
Japan has one of the toughest gun laws as citizens are not allowed to own handguns, yet they have gun violence because the gangs have guns. They also do not let half the political correctness crap going on. If you do the crime, you do the time.
Switzerland requires gun ownership. They also have a very low death rate from gun violence. They too do not give in to political correctness.

    From an on-line answer page.

The FBI estimates that there are over 200 million privately-owned firearms in the US. If you add those owned by the military, law enforcement agencies and museums, there is probably about 1 gun per person in the country.

If you want to get a rough idea of how many guns there are out there just look at how many people you see out there then multiply by a factor of estimated ownership. The last best guess was about 350,000,000 Total. That would be 1 weapon for every man woman and child. The average gun enthusiast owns several firearms which includes pistols, shotguns, and rifles of all makes and models. It is often estimated that about 1 in 4 people own any firearms and on average firearms owners own 4 guns each.

Any new type of gun control now is like closing the gate after the cows have gone. Quit beating up on us legal owners and go after the ones that are dealing the illegal ones..... like the Justice Department.

I believe background checks should be far tighter - on voters, not firearm owners.

I'm going to disagree in part.
O is not exactly the problem, those people that agree with and support him are far more problematic for this Country than O himself.

O just sets the pace for his followers and the rest just fall in step. Are we thinking the same thing?

To interpret the last post, "I just stepped in a pile of dog shit and I like it."
