Your deep insight into this issue is most revealing.

America is the land of equal opportunity, not equal success.

I read it, seems to me that Mitt made very clear and concise comments that directly aanswered the question put to him.
The subjects he pointed out ARE potential trouble spots that could very well be points of concern.
The organizers would do well to heed his comments.

As a past Olympic president who already crossed all these bridges, I believe he has the right to make such a statement! Besides, making friends isn't what is needed. Providing safety is. Too bad the lost mouse can't see such simple facts.

x2. I'd be worried about a transpo strike too. Do you know that EVERY Olympics has bus drivers that don't know where they are going, and trains that don't run? It doesn't make the news, but the sports reporters know all about it.

He was invited there by the International Olympic Committee.

What a dumbass....What would you like him to do...Blow smoke up their collective asses? Lie to them and tell them exactly what they want to hear? "Everything is just fine, perfect.....you fellas did such a fine job of everything we should just have the Olympics here every 4 years and save all those other cities from going to all that trouble." If you don't like what the answer may be, don't ask the question.

Why is an idiot? Is because he told the truth? Is it because he said something that would be blown out of proportion by the leftist media? His concerns are NOTHING I havn't heard on CNN by their own reporters. Is honesty and saying how it is old fashion and unacceptable now?

"When asked about the preparations for the Olympics earlier in the day by the NBC anchor Brian Williams, Romney said: 'You know, it's hard to know just how well it will turn out. There are a few things that were disconcerting, the stories about the private security firm not having enough people, supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials, that obviously is not something which is encouraging. Because there are three parts that makes Games successful.
'Number one, of course, are the athletes. That's what overwhelmingly the Games are about. Number two are the volunteers. And they'll have great volunteers here. But number three are the people of the country. Do they come together and celebrate the Olympic moment? And that's something which we only find out once the Games actually begin.'"

He should have just told them " You didn't do this on your own".
"Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though" President Barack Obama.

Liberals just chose to ignore relevant information about the world they live in, and then call themselves sophisticated for having chosen to be more stupid than God made them.

I'm betting zero would be very happy to trade places with Romney on his irrelevant statement VS. his ignorant statement on the jobs disaster.

You really want to see an idiot, look in the mirror. So you are just regurgitating what has been on the lame stream media news stations on every broadcast when this first broke.

What? Do you think you are telling us about something we don't know???

At least he didn't give the Queen a stupid ass I-pod with his focking speeches on it and didn't bow to them!!!! What an idiot he was. I don't see Demouse talking about that!!!!!

BTW, Why isn't Demouse talking about Cameron comment about the Olympics being in the middle of nowhere? I'll put this to you, Romney took a turd of a setup in the middle of nowhere and made it a complete success!! I bet Obama couldn't do that...In fact he didn't!!! How did that Chicago Olympic deal work out Demouse????

It was a DVD, and it was even formatted incorrectly.
