Default A Little Dose of REALITY

I'm a super on a 6 million dollar house in west LA in which the homeowners own a very large business that manufactures and sells liftgates for trucks. The owners were on site for our weekly meeting on Thursday and said that the companies that they sell to have had two budgets for next year, one for 0bama and one for Romney, so they prceed to tell us that Coke, Pepsi, Hertz have all cancelled orders since Tuesday and that their company will probably have to layoff employee's.

This is no BS, spin or talking points from spokes hole's or teleprompter reading asshats on tv this is from real people, real bsiness owners.

On a finacial show this morning about 8 large companys annouced layoffs the day after the election. Caterpiller was the one I remember.

Why does everybody assume that PROFITS are the same as economy, and employment? Or that companies like Pepsi don't look "down the road"

The top dogs at Pepsi are way smarter than you or I. Its why they are where they are.

They can PERSONALLY dislike Obama, but endorse him because the YOUTH, and the EBT card carriers, and the fast food junkies, and the techies are all guzzling the crap. Not nice to piss off your customers. Even if it means eating a little crow in the process.

I won't own a Apple I pad or Iphone, but it never stopped me from worshipping the ground Jobs walked on. I actually cried a little when he died. Do I sell or hold. Never considered that while he was a live, and never considered anything they made all that earth shattering. But more than enough dipshits in the world did, I was fine with that.

No bs either, on Wed I got notices from two different suppliers that pricing was going up. 30% from one and 7% from the other, didn't take much for us to figure out why!

Once they raise capital gains taxes a number of people are pulling their money out before the rates go up. That's going to kill investments. That also means businesses cannot expand, or even continue to do what they are doing. That's going to cause even more lay offs.
Wait until all the fools that voted for Obama get their lay off notices. They'll be the first ones to head out into the street protesting. Of course those idiots are not going to blame Obama. The fools have no idea how businesses work.

What's that have to do with anything? Are you trying to say that because she's from India or a woman she isn't intelligent?
