Yes, this is how the good working people with money are "taking their balls and going home" and refusing to play this game any more. The rules are changing and the odds are definitely stacked against the "ball carriers". Business owners are now facing a "no win" scenario.

It will be interesting to see how the game proceeds with participants with "NO BALLS". But I am confident "they" will follow us home and take our balls anyway....

Yep, 68 new regulations issued for business since Tuesday. Add to that that Obama just pulled drilling permits on public lands in Utah, Wyoming, and Montana.
    Even more lay-offs coming.

When faced with a cascade of ever increasing regulation, taxation and unknown surprises people slow thing down, pull back and hold off.

Hold off buying houses, cars, new clothes, appliances, business assets ....etc. Banks continue to hoard vs lend and on and on.

I'm concerned about a whole new spiral downward, and it looks like its already started.

It may have been worse if Rmoney was elected. I'm not worried. The last few years have been good to my portfolio.

Might have, but he wasn't elected, and this isn't good for what may be left of your portfolio or mine at the moment.

    Worried, not yet, concerned...yup.

There has been tremendous dollar devaluation in the 4 years.

Look no further than the rise of the price of a gold coin- as the gold holds it value as the dollar shows its weakness.

My gold has done quite well.

UD, you're really going to try and pin this on President Obama?

Cant really blame POTUS, he's a manchurian president, his administration is in charge, so I blame them. P.S, I'am sure your gonna "pin" it on Mr Bush.

Im going to pin it on not Obama as a single individual, but the sum of his administrations policies at large. He's the ringleader that sets direction.

Im curious as to why you think the drop is the 5th worst ever?

Does the 5th worst drop of all time sound like a ringing endorsement for growth and prosperity?

Does it feel or seem like a good direction?

Tell me what your take is.
