Too bad Ram can't tell us his thoughts on this, but he probably canceled his Pravda subscription anyway as Russia is much farther away from Communism than the USA currently is.

TG, I just recieved that link in an Email a few minutes ago and was going to post it on here only to see you beat me to it. Hard to believe that the very people that can define "communism" are saying WE are more communist than they are, that their communist candidate only recieved 17% of the vote, and they, including Putin see us making the very mistakes their former leader(dictators) did.

Isn't that exactly what we ALL have been saying for 4 years now?
So is the real kool aide drinkers. geez, when a former communist country and population says your POTUS is a commie, people need to listen. If not, then you need to start admitting and accepting what you are. A LAZY ASS COMMUNIST WHOS WANTS AND DESIRES ARE TO BE TAKEN CARE OF BY THE STATE BECAUSE YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF!!!

Are you reading this CVX, Rod, shue, 1986, et al, and yes ram, you too!

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largesse out of the public treasury. From that moment on the majority, he said, always vote for the candidate promising the most benefits from the treasury with the result that democracy always collapses over a loose fiscal policy, always to be followed by a dictatorship.

Its been said on here more than once, and history proves it over and over. It is human nature to have societies flow in that direction. Its also true that in time, that system becomes even more corrupt than our current republic, and even more suppressed. It is not human nature to be suppressed and so a revolt is inevitable, and the cycle restarts.

Once people like those that fought WWII are all gone, and the dumbed down Rods, rams, shues, and CVXs are wide spread, it much easier to remove any remaining freedoms. Their are so full of kool aid they have no clue what freedoms they lost, or are willing to fore go them in exchange for being cared for by the state, and given meaningless jobs in exchange for "free care"

Nothing is free, and their lack of intellignece of what freedoms they give up is acceptable to them so long as they are not required to be self reliant.

I personally think we have hit the tipping point is ignorance nation wide, and the gave the country and our liberties away for what they perceive as personal gain that they could never hope to aquire without the government stealing it from somebody else and giving it to the undeserved. There is NO SHAME with people like Rod CVX and the others. Zero sense of self worth and pride of accomplishment. They simply just don not give a shit so long as they get what they THINK they are entitled to, and are able to VOTE to get it, from who ever they can get it from.

You guys might not buy into religious beliefs as I do but one thing I know better than anything else is that our Heavenly Father allows civilizations to screw up, time and again but he also has promises for those who believe. That's the hope I carry these days as I consider this country to be headed in the toilet faster than the good people can save it from those who outnumber them.

I would not argue the premise that it is currently of "Biblical" proportion.

Doc. I never said anything about your beliefs. If I thought something I would not say anything about it. I might ask a question. I think you are a Fine Man.

When you drive into the city of Mohave from Palmdale on I-14 there is a stone monument like wall on the side of the road with this inscribed on it. It was built and paid for by Dick Rutan who built the Voyager plane that flew non stop around the world.

I must read this and what is before and after it. His people who are called by his name. Could make a interesting subject. Doc brought up the name Jehovah. I am not a scholar by any means. But you guys know that. I did have a year of college that I took a elective class the was Comparative religion. In the Old Testament Jehovah or Yahweh was the name of GOD. No one uses it now. Well some of the Eastern religions still do. And no I am not a Jehovah's Witness. Found it interesting why it was done away with. I know some still feel the Old Testament is just history but I think there is more to it then that. Wonder what thought this will bring up. Must of hit a button to change the print size. Sorry.

Jehovah is the covenant or proper name of the God of Israel. It denotes the “Unchangeable One,” “the eternal I AM” (Ex. 6:3; Ps. 83:18; Isa. 12:2; 26:4). The original pronunciation of this name has possibly been lost, as the Jews, in reading, never mentioned it, but substituted one of the other names of God, usually Adonai. Probably it was pronounced Jahveh, or Yahveh. In the KJV, the Jewish custom has been followed, and the name is generally denoted by Lord or God, printed in small capitals. Jehovah is the premortal Jesus Christ and came to earth being born of Mary.

It's not rocket science, it's scripture study.
