Default WE know how to fix this. We have been here before

A friend emailed this to me yesterday. Its very interesting. It explains exactly what the government was doing wrong the last time we were in this artifically induced mess as opposed to a normal economic ebb and flow, how the government bad it worse by interveneing, and how to fix the problem. It virtually took a war to get the government off the backs and wallets of business and lower the regulations(mainly labor at the time), and get the country back to work.

It can be done without a full blown war, but I am beginning to wonder if the government will ever wake up, AND LEARN FORM HISTORY!!!!!

Not one bit surprising to me that the leader at the time was the countries for most socialist of the day. When we learn that socialism cannot fix this, it can only make it worse.

75 years later and here we are capital fighting labor with the government fking it all up. Did the same kind of class warfare exist back in 1937?

Why do people believen that you can put economic principles aside and that the government interference is a solution? Honestly, I don't think they even consider it but rather they accept it because they are taught to be dependent on the government. When will people appreciate the capital side of the equation and not allow themselves to be victims of government.

The fact that the poeple who make up the left have so easily swallowed the rhetoric that they are "victims" of the people on the right is disheartening.

The problem is that most liberals either ignore history or just rewrite it, but they never learn from it.
I've posted many times on tax revenue vs. tax rates, but they seem to read right past it and bring up other things. I've brought up history of Carter, but it's ignored. Facts that disagree with their agenda is like holy water is to a vampire.

Obama doesn't want the Obamaphone lady and all her Teet sucking friends in the White House looting his possessions. What Obama doesn't get is these mental midgets hold him personally responsible for making sure they get their free cheese. Pandering to third world minds gets third world results, even in the USA.

America is the land of equal opportunity, not equal success.

Fixed it for you. At that level it isn't murder anymore. Of course that would be the first time you'd hear "terrorist" out of Obama's mouth unless it was he. Then you wouldn't hear anything out of his mouth.

Don't misunderstand my post. It wouldn't be the public that went off on those responsible. It wouldn't be an angry mob type thing. It wouldn't even be an American behind any "slayings"

It would be those behind the Fed.
Every president that has ever messed with the "central bank", from Andrew Jackson, Lincoln, and Kennedy, have either had attempts on their lives as POTUS, or been assassinated.

The people behind the Fed have TRILLIONS at stake, making BILLIONS everysingle day. They are way more dangerous that you can imagine. They have the power and the means to take ouyt any body, anytime, anywhere. If OBL was on the bad side of the Fed, he would have been toast within a week.

Oh, I definitely understood your post. That's why I called it a Coup d'etat. It would be an overthrow by the money guys behind the fraud at the Fed.

You got that right. If people think drug pushers can be bad news, they never seen what money pushers are capable of.
In these times, they don't have territories like drug pushers and gang bangers. The modern day money pushers are global and incredably powerful beyond the imagination. And its all been made 100% perfectly legal, WORLD WIDE!

    1. The had class warfare, part of it vastly more insidious than what we see now, keep in mind there was a Soviet Union at the time claiming fantastic gains. It seriously could have been the end of us.

    2. Now let's talk about gas lines in NJ after hurricane Sandy. Why was that? Well one reason is that price controls go into effect after a cane. Gouging is a crime. Now imagine that you could charge whatever you wanted for gas, you'd drive over a few miles and sell somebody a full 5 gal can for the right price wouldn't you? Now say you had somebody, a willing buyer, who'd rather pay $10 for a gal rather than wait in line. Guess what? No lines.
But that would be unregulated capitalism, can't have that can we?

During the '72 oil embargo, I could fill up drums in the back of a stake bed truck to fuel my dad's shop vehicles from the station we patronized at the time, after they closed for the night. Every morning I would fill the trucks with the fuel, and fill a couple gallon cans and go put them in my wife's car while she was at work.
You cannot believe the people that approached me thinking it was a service I provided, and wanted to hire me to do the same for them. The offers were MORE than tempting let me tell you. Some peoples time is worth alot more more than many think.

That oil embargo was a big joke. My father worked at the Long Beach Navel Shipyard and works on the south end over by where the Spruce Goose was. He'd see the oil vessels come in full, load up the tanks that were all under where the Gerald Desmond ended on the Terminal Island side, and then sail empty. Another vessel would come in empty and fill up and head out.

My dad owned several independent gas stations during the embargo. We couldn't get supplied and got wiped out. Despite the word "embargo", oil was available elsewhere at a higher price, for instance from England. However, Nixon had price controls going, which meant oil companies couldn't make any $, so they had no incentive to import the higher priced oil. The big oil companies gave a small supply to their own dealers, but none to independents, and actually used the opportunity to wipe out independents.
When we did get occasionally supplied, my dad sold quite a bit at nite.
