    Default Mystery uncovered!

We've uncovered why democrats vote as they do. Here's the top twelve reasons in their own words:

    1. I voted for a Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

    2. I voted for a Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

    3. I voted for a Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

    4. I voted for a Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers, rapists, thugs, and thieves.

    5. I voted for a Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will disappear in ten years because of Global Warming if I don’t start driving a Prius or a Chevy Volt.

    6. I voted for a Democrat because I’m not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

    7. I voted for a Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits.

    8. I voted for a Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.

    9. I voted for a Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution regularly to suit some fringe folks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

    10. I voted for a Democrat because I think that it’s better to pay billions to people who hate us for their oil, but not drill for our own because it might upset some useless endangered beetle, gopher, or fish.

    11. I voted for a Democrat because while we live in the greatest, most wonderful country in the world, I was promised “HOPE AND CHANGE.”

    12. I voted for a Democrat because my head is so firmly buried in the sand that it’s unlikely that I’ll ever have another point of view.
The best things in life aren't things!

So true on all accounts. I can't dwell on it too much though because it will make me sick.

And I am leaving to go back to WORK!

...and the point is? (other than to sound like sour grapes and whining...)

    Default This one's better...

13 reasons why I voted Republican...

    1. I voted Republican because you can blame problems on poor people instead of the rich ones who actually run things.

    2. I voted Republican because firefighters and teachers are
scum-sucking leaches, but the oil companies raking in record profits
NEED those hundreds of millions in taxpayer subsidies.

    3. I voted Republican because I believe companies like my cable TV
provider, insurance company and credit card company could do a better
job running the country than the government, no matter how much they
    screw me over.

    4. I voted Republican because I don’t trust the government, although
I favored the government spying on my health/financial records and
tapping my phone when Bush was in office to keep us safe from ‘trrists.

    5. I voted Republican because I don't really care whether terrorists, murderers and drug dealers own guns or not.

    6. I voted Republican because I believe climate change doesn't
exist; if I can't see it with my own two eyes, it doesn't exist. Like
    gravity.

    7. I voted Republican because I hate women having abortions, but
once the baby is born and dies from a preventable illness that’ okay.

    8. I voted Republican because I believe in laying off workers to
boost profits; then I get to complain about lazy unemployed people.

    9. I voted Republican because I understand capitalism. Demand
doesn’t increase jobs…ensuring corporations pay no taxes and cutting
    healthcare and education does.

    10. I voted Republican because I care about the deficit and support
cutting services that I really need. But extra tax cuts for the super
rich that actually caused the deficit should be extended indefinitely.

    11. I voted Republican because I believe in never having to solve
any problems in the government because I insist government is the
    problem anyway.

    12. I voted Republican because I hate activist judges, unless they
are conservative (Yes, corporations should get to spend unlimited money
    in elections).

    13. I voted Republican because spite and fear is better than hope and change.

Personally I don't see anything humorous about it. In fact its down right disgusting really.
Nothing but a bunch of freeloaders voting for the person that promises to give the most free stuff.

When a majority in democracy figures out it can vote in anything it wants from the minority, the country is screwed. They can rape and steal from the working class to their hearts content. Turn the worker bees into slaves for their benefit. Until the worker bees get good and pissed off.

First level thinking...it's still a political party issue.

Some of you are so hung up on your political differences that you could be lit on fire and not notice.

When enough people finally realize that it's not a republican/democrat issue, there will be the beginning of a chance of maybe starting to sort of figure out what the problem might be. Untill then, nothing will change.

Too many benefitting from the running presses. Too many that aren't paying towrds the debt, they are the debt. To them, debt is great, so long as none of the debt is piled on them. so long as they are part of the reason for the mounting debt, it will be impossible to bring the fed reserve under control or close it down. It and its interest fund those that vote to keep its doors open.
so long as the working class will accept the debt load of the fed, they will continue to run it up.
If you can't stop it with a vote, it doesn't leave alot of alternatives.
England threw the crown's debt on the colonies. We know how that worked out for the crown.
