Default Lance Armstrong... not really political but....

Ok so Lance is one of our hero's... The man did some amazing things on a bike. Unfortunely we find out he was doping. Now stripped of the victories, stripped of endorsments he is ready to admit to taking performance drugs. Ok I get it.... But why in God's creation does he do this in an interview with Opra? The guy just cashed in what little man card he had left....

Coming clean requires a bunch of steps.
    Recognize the mistake.
    Regret it
    Remorse
Reveal it or admit it to those that matter
    Restitution where possible
    Remain on the better path

Cuz when your a druggy, your just a loser.

But when your a "recovering addict" your a fuckin hero and you inspire others to do the same.

I think it will give him a new magic carpet to ride on.

Are you kidding? He's confessing to Oprah because he'll get her to cry, she'll forgive him and the rest of the idiots in the US will forgive him too because Oprah said it was OK. He'll now be a hero and be able to cash in on that!!!
He learned by watching how Obama came to power. The US has become a People Magazine and Oprah society. Whatever they say must be true and we must follow.

i do not agree with using , but when the top ten of a given race say they are all using then does it realy make a difference?.. from what i have seen most of the riders say they got hooked up .. so if everyone is on it and he won is it not the same as he won with everyone clean ???? maybe not heck i dont know . i get the fact that we expect them to not be dirty but if they are all dirty then ....... they all should be in trouble..

This is the same guy that dated Sheryl Crow and also said her music cured his cancer.

Oprah's probably offering a nice payday for the interview. I'm sure this is a "one hand washing the other" agreement as Oprah's ratings are so far in the tank since she started her OWN network, she needs something to make her relevant again.

As far as Armonstrong goes, who really cares? Every other world class cyclist he was competing against was probably just as juiced as he was. And for the record I don't believe he actually got caught, he passed all the drug test, he was ratted out by team members. I think the Frenchies couldn't handle getting their ASSES kicked repeatedly by an American. They were the hound dogs that wouldn't let this go I believe.
In the words Of Jim Rome, "If you aren't cheating, your not trying, and it's only cheating when you get caught!" Show me any main stream pro sport that doesn't have some sort of performance enhancing cheating going on. Athletes juice, car juice, horses juice. Like it or not, it's called "WINNING!"

Unfortunately this is what is being taught our kids. Win at all cost, even if it means cheating. So this goes to general life lessons. Cheat in school, cheat in business, cheat in life. As long as you get yours. If it takes hard work to get there, forget it, just cheat.
Ever wonder why Obama was reelected?
