Lets see if I can make a prediction and be right...
Here comes the narrative (and laws) that returning military can't have guns. Can't pull them out of that no win shithole, based on our rules of engagement dictated by the President, until the law is passed. The Government doesn't want tour cycling soldiers to be able to move on with their lives until they can't have arms.
I brought this up to snoc on the "power" of the government to limit the publics access to arms. He claimed because the COURTS upheld the adminstration, and passed adminstrations, that it all "legal".
Hitler had the same powers given to him by the courts, , media, and labor parties. We all know how that worked out for them.
This is from a U.S. website. Not some commentary on the Constitution. These words and the ones that they are attached to were dismissed by a large number at the 1st congress as unnecessary and a waste of time because it was all too OBVIOUS.There was no need to make a seperate document for them, the constitution covered everything they needed to operate the government. But many held fast and demanded that it be put in writing. THANK GOD!!!!
Anybody know what this says and what this was part of, and why it was so important to so many that these things were written down?
In my eyes, ANY administration that makes ANY effort to over turn or change or modify ANY part of the document that this was part of is guilty of tyranny, and should be executed as such.
In this country, this shouldn't even be discussed by ANY administration. This is the hired help, the maid and the butler, telling the home owners how its going to be. Sounds like a one way ticket out the door to me.
We are slowing but surely allowing ourselves to become serfs to a tyrant monarch.
Congress of the United States
begun and held at the City of New-York, on
Wednesday the fourth of March, one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine.
THE Conventions of a number of the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution.
If you don't know the difference between the Bill of Rights and the Constitution(snoc), you owe it to yourself to read the Bill of Rights and ask yourself, are they really as much "RIGHTS" as they are RESTRICTIONS, and WHO they are restricting?
