Default Obama the supporter of the middle class and elderly

I'm a middle class man on social security, saved a little money so I could earn interest to help things out, third I have a small pension that has nearly 1/3 is taken out for medical insurance for me and my wife. Since Obama saved us from the "cliff" gas has gone up at least 1.50 a gallon(about 300 a month for me) my health insurance that wasn't to increase when obamacare was passed has gone up another $350 a month. The federal reserve has to keep the interest rates low because of the runaway dept ceiling(they can't raise it because the USA can't pay that much interest on 16trillion dept) so seniors or any one who does save has lost at least 4% on their monthly interest, for me around $800 a month So in the last four year I have seen my middle class fixed income decline $1450 a month and have to find investments that are riskier than cds and don't earn as much. I'm not the only middle income senior that is feeling the pinch. I don't know why they're not raising hell I guess the aarp just want's to sell insurance and doesn't care about the middle class seniors they claim they are looking out for. There are conservative groups starting up and hopefully they will truly care about us. Now the worst thing Obama has done has stuck our kids and grand kids with an incredible dept that will cause runaway inflation . I can only prey that some one wakes up a sees where we are going. You won't hear it from the lame stream media or the teachers that are educating our future generations(I use that term loosely) apologies in advance to the good teachers that care. I don't mind taking a hit if it would be put to good use, maybe pay down the dept.Help our wounded warriors and drill for oil, maybe build a nuclear plant or two .how about getting back in space, something that made us as a nation pull togeather , or use it for a budget that hasn't been passed in 4 years. The one Obama sends down to congress the Democrats won't even vote on it. Sorry about the rant just a pissed off old independent conservative that believes you can fix stupid and thats what we got in this administration

I feel your pain man. Problem is, apparently not enough other people feel enough pain to do anything about it, yet. I listen to several different radio shows and webcast's, and I'm amazed how many people call in and basically say similar things, and yet they let Obama off the hook with, "he's doing the best he can with how bad the mess was that he inherited." I can't understand how people don't see him for the liar he is. Any blind man can see that what he says is normally 180* apposed to what he does. I believe more and more people are waking up to the craziness of what the Obama agenda is all about though. I really think people are going to start aggressively baulking a lot loader and more forceful as Obama care kicks into gear. Time will tell, and I don't think it will be long, until America says enough and Obama hits some major resistance. If not..

The problem is that you are a producer with a brain and producers are outnumbered by leaches. The liberal leaches love everything about the direction this nation is headed. They said so with their votes.

We have the rod, shue and 1986s here that think everything is just peachy keen and doing fine because neither has lost their jobs or their income and their extreme selfish nature refuses to see the cost to future generations - one has no kids so what would he ever care and the fact that the others may have kids is a further indictment on their lack of concern for that generation. Model parents - they are! They couldn't care less about a constitution that is the backbone of the greatest nation on earth. They seem to love the move toward socialism, indebtedness beyond any hope to repay, the loss of constitutional rights, the soaring unemployment, executive orders and corrupt cabinet appointments because they put him back in office to show full approval. It's not that they really understand anything that goes on around them. Their posts prove otherwise, in fact. It's that they simply don't care enough to want to know what really could benefit America. Their heads are buried far too deep to see daylight. Problem is they still have a hand to vote with.
The best things in life aren't things!

I have to say, the luster of "the right to elect" has been tarnish considerably now that we allow anybody with a heart beat to vote. Or become POTUS. I remember when you had to be a 21 year old adult. Then drug crazed unemployed, liberal communist students protested and bitched enough that they gave them the vote. I always thought if you fought for the country you should be able to vote. Cool, lets see your military ID.
NOW, you walked in, you vote. Numberous times if you like. Who knows how many phony IDs an illegal has. If he has one, I imagine 3 or 4 is no problem.

Yeah Doc, they can vote..........for now. By the time Hillary is elected for the 2nd term, I have by doubts how many can still walk in.

Elections have consequences.... Unfortunately people who have only an open hand pointed at the Government are happy... Us REAL producers are paying heavily and so will future generations!!

don't worry. pretty soon there will be a couple posters around here that will let you know you're just a greedy old bastard that would be much better off euthanized. just go get a couple flu shots - if the first two don't kill you, they got more...
4 years ago, going from bluecross to medicare, and keeping bluecross as supplemental, your payment would drop. not that way now. there are brain surgeon posters in here that "think" you have a choice whether or not to go on medicare. yeah, if you're an illegal alien that never had a social security number. for those that have paid anything into ss and "think" they have a choice, tell me about that choice when you're 65.

but without any health insurance, you are truly fucked. 3 months ago, i was in the hospital for 1 night. less than 24 hours. i ate no food and none was given to me. they checked me out, put me on antibiotics. 2 days later when i mentioned what i was in for to a certain kboat aimer, he was like "damn dude, that's what killed my grandmother. serious stuff".
less than 24 hours. the hospital bill was over $15,000.00. the plugged me in to a couple monitors, scanned me, maybe half hour of a nurses time, and then orderly's to change the drip bags. the bed wasn't anything special. but for fifteen grand, the nurse should have been the playmate of the month in a string bikini. and the orderly's should have been straight out of the bunny ranch.
of course, they bill the insurance company, which sends them $5,000.00 and tells them that's it, fair and reasonable. that's it, you're not getting any more. I DO APPRECIATE what they do and what they did. but $15000 for one night, a few drip bags and a scan???
about a week ago, i was talking to a lady about this. she related her experience from 7 years ago, her son had to be medi-vac'd to phoenix. it wasn't covered by insurance, and her bill for the one hour flight was $67,000.00. 2 people, one helo, $67,000.00. ok, maybe a 2 hour flight since they had to fly back. she had more to say about the helo treatment, but no matter. it's taken them 7 years, but they finally have it paid off.

it is amazing to me that these entitys can submit charges like this with a straight face. if the government really wanted to do something about health care, there would be some oversight of this nonsense. apparently, the insurance companys can say fuck you, this is what your getting and you'll like it. but there is a game being played here, we're all getting screwed by it, and the government doesn't even know what the game is.

    rant over...
