Default Proposed bill to force gun owners to buy liability insurance

Seriously? These crafty mother fuks are relentless. I wish they'd all just come together and in one big declaration say what they really want...to ban all guns and repeal the 2nd.

The gov't requiring or compelling people to purchasing ANYTHING in order to comply with the law flat out is unconstitutional. But we keep on accepting it day in and day out. BTW, that's my proposal to solve this countrys' money problems. When the money goes away, all the bullshit that the gov't requires that we pay to play, things will correct themselves almost overnight. Not to mention the gov't virtually vanishing from our day-to-day lives. But hey, that's fine. Keep bending over. Keep paying all the gov't fees.

Every Congress, state and local gov't and almost every President for the last 60 years are guilty of "feeing" us. We shouldn't have to pay to simply exist as Americans. That's what its come down to. Of course, I have this crazy notion that the 2nd amendment protects my natural right to self defense and to carry a firearm. Not a permit that the gov't says I'm required to obtain and to pay a ridiculous amount of money for. Now they want to FORCE us to purchase insurance?? fuuuuuuk you

I am so glad I live in Utah where they believe in the 2nd amendment!! They may be a little harsh on the 1st, but they do love the 2nd!
There's a little backlash as the Unified Sheriff and Salt Lake PD chief refused to sign a letter against any unconstitutional gun control that all the other police/sheriffs in the state signed. It'll come back to bite them. But then again, downtown tends to be a little more on the liberal side. But we have them surrounded!!!

Keep telling yourself that the 2nd amendment is for self defense and you are right where they want you.
It was NEVER meant for you protection from thieves, home invaders, etc. '
IT WAS MEANT TO PROTECT YOU FROM THE VERY PEOPLE THAT ARE TRYING TO DISARM YOU!!!! Why is that so hard for people to get? \Of course it unconstitutional. They don't give a shit about your OBLIGATION to protect the country from tyrants. It is their objective to see that you can't.

Exactly Bob. Why is the Constitution so hard to comprehend? You Liberals must really hate the American way of life as we know it now. To support the attacks on our Constitution is treasonous. Fuck you destructive ignorant liberals. I truly loathe your socialistic ideology. You sheep really need to wake up, you have no respect for The Bill of Rights and the Constitution. If this shit continues, good luck with third world conditions in America.

Whether you use your weapons for protection from the government or someone breaking down your door won't matter if we allow these fools to set the rules. I was talking to a gun instructor a few weeks ago at the range in Chino. He was making the point that he teaches in his gun safety course that an empty gun, locked up in a safe is as useless and dumb as sharing a condom with your friends. He teaches that the only time you keep your guns locked in a safe and empty is if your not home. If it's for protection, it needs to be accessible and operational at all times it's legal to do so.

Probably, but did you think without a doubt that Barry would win again? Have you seen who's in charge up in Sacramento and around the country? Super majority of Dems in the legislature w/moonbeam Brown at the ready to sign everything that comes across his desk from them. Although, it'll probably undergo many tweeks when it does come up. They'll treat like everything else requiring you purchase something...on your ability to pay.Poor people will get assistance or gov't insurance. This is the lefts GOLDEN time to shine and introduce every piece of shit, anti-freedom, hippie idea that their former (or currently) pot-head, acid dropping brains can conjure up.

Andrew Cuomo fukked over the gun owners in NY. I'm sure they never thought that would happen so quickly either.

Different and uncertain times we are living in.

This has little to do with liability insurance and more to do with identification of firearm owners.

They are using every trick in the book to determine who has them and only those who don't believe the constitution gives us the right to keep and bear arms will comply.

I agree Doc. They want info. on how many, what kind and where they are. The super majority the Dems have in Sacramento will push for and get what they want. Who will stop them? This will make R&J very happy.
