    Default Bob Woodward THREATENED...

I found this interesting... Not surprising but interesting... Liberals/PROGRESSIVES/COMMIES get really pissed when they dont get their way AND you pin them down with facts...

    W.H. senior staffer threatens journalist..............

    http://news.yahoo.com/journalist-bob...-073806745.html

In the column at the center of the storm, Woodward writes the White House has been deliberately disingenuous about its role in the sequester, and accused Obama of "moving the goal posts" by insisting Republicans agree to new tax revenue as part of any substitute for the sequester. "That was not the deal he made," he says.

Woodward's report has rankled administration officials, particularly since it undermines the narrative the White House has been pushing ahead the March 1 sequester deadline. Democrats claim the automatic cuts were mutually agreed upon and never intended to be enacted, making Obama's demand for new revenue a legitimate one. Republicans claim the sequester was Obama's idea and that any replacement plan was to be entirely cuts.

Now, Woodward alleges that he was bullied even ahead of publishing his report. He told Politico Wednesday that one Obama aide "yelled at me for about a half hour" and in an email message delivered a veiled threat.

"It was said very clearly: 'you will regret doing this,'" Woodward told CNN. "I'm not going to say [who], a very senior person. It makes me very uncomfortable to have the White House telling reporters you're going to regret doing something you believe in."

"I think if Barack Obama knew that was part of the communications strategy, let's hope it's not a strategy, but just a tactic he's employing, he'd say, 'look, we don't go around trying to say to reporters if you in an honest way present something that we don't like, you're going to regret this,'" he said.

With the mainstream media sleeping comfortably in the Kenyan's bed, Woodward will have an uphill battle despite the validity of the claim.

Let's remember, Woodward - with the help of the media, were successful at driving Nixon from office after lying about a phone tap.
(not a soul was hurt and no national security was breached. No military personnel were dismissed and not a scuff on a shoe took place)

Now, Woodward is simply bringing forth truth against a president that lied about the deaths of our Ambassador and others where a stand-down order stood for over eight hours and the media is silent. How pitiful is this. Woodward's simply challenging the president's stupidity on the sequester and he's a solo voice in the woods as the media sleeps soundly beside this fraudulent president they are blindly protecting.

Obama's armor is the media. If he starts losing bits and pieces of that armor, I think it will then start falling off in chunks. Then when he's held up to the light of day, his ratings will fall like a rock off a cliff.

There are a lot of links to this subject. In a nut shell, the Dims are rallying the troops and it is full spin ahead. The original link was pulled by request no doubt. And mostly what you will find is other press reports of Woodward is trying to make something out of nothing. Why they even released the email and said, see nothing there, just a friend making a friendly comment to another friend. There are only a couple minor problems with that version of the story. Yes it is possible, but did Mr. Woodward know they had that type of a friendship? If their relationship was strictly business casual or more formal even, someone acting friendly and making a veiled threat doesn't make it any less a threat. And two, in the email, the official admits to blowing up on the phone. He doesn't say what was said, but if there were verbal threats made (highly possible when one thinks they are in a superior position) and the email contained a what appears to be a freindly suggestion, the inoxuous friendly comment could be a very clear reminder of what was said verbally, and it doesn't matter how much honey and sugar you put on it in the email if it was said with spite and malace on the phone.

The spin machine is going crazy though between trying to gloss over the event and trying to discredit Mr. Woodward to help isolate themselves shoud he find a topic that has even more merit. As of now he has only proven that the president lied about who's idea the sequester was in the first place. His other dings on the administration include that he pointed out that now the president wants to rewrite the rules for the sequester (moving the goal posts). And the swipe about not deploying the carrier, which was not much at all, but it did clearly strike at the president's ability to make sound decisions. I can see why Mr. Woodward is Press enemy #1. Why perhaps he is really a domestic terrorist and they should sweep him up and haul him off to Gitmo. He is clearly trying to stir up unrest and start an uprising.

Blog: Bob Woodward threatened by White House over sequester reporting

A quick Google search will reveal two things. Over 74 million responses to "Woodward Threatened" and a complete lack of mainstream media touching this irresponsible action from the White House. It's what we've come to expect from the limp-wristed - tax, borrow and spenders and their personal coddling media sources.

I read plenty of other links and saw many vids on youtube. I just thought it funny (not hahah) that what the MSM deemed not playing ball quickly gets removed and buried.

Why is it we have the second amendment again?? Oh yeah, to assure we able to keep all the other amendment.

Obama isn't the first POTUS to put a muzzle on the media. FDR was a master at it. Of course, he was worshipped as a God, by the his followers, including 99% of the media. Seem at all similar?

You get the idea that the government takes advandage of, or even creates economic hardships just to wrestle more and more power from the people.
There was NOTHING the people wouldn't let FDR do just so long as they ate.

Not much different then some guy in Germany around the same time.

Really ? Jeeez and here all along I thought it was so we could hunt. At least that's what all the liberals are saying. "You don't need an AR-15 to shoot a deer." that's all I keep hearing.
If you voted for Obama to prove you were not racist, then you better find someone else to vote for to prove your not stupid.

You don't. You need them for something that is way dumber than any deer, and easier to hunt down. Extremely target rich environment.

Actually Woodrow Wilson did such a good job of stifling the 1st amendment that Joseph Goebbels used him as an example. Another less know was John Kennedy who would sick the IRS and the FBI on anyone who opposed him. He and Nixon were actually really good friends until the campaign. That's when Kennedy had his friends dig up dirt on him, or used information obtained while they were friends. Kennedy was one of the worst.
You see a common thread? All of them from the same party, yet these fools don't realize it.
