So is this the beginning of the draining of the establishment swap, or just a shot across the bow of the beltway moderates? Eric Cantor was taken out by an un-known econ professor, running on fiscal conservative principles. Eric, along with other establishment repbub's like Boehner and McConnell have been basically flipping the bird to the TEA party base telling them, "We will crush you and take you out every chance we get!" Well, looks like the the conservative base drew first blood by taking out the house majority leader. Dave Brat beat Cantor in the primary by something like 10 points, that's an ass kicking! Plus Brat only spent about 1/2 mill on his campaign while Cantor spent about 4 mill. He ran on a VA state TEA party supported platform, but got no help from any national TEA party organization, this was wholeheartedly a grass roots win.
We in here have been saying the natives are getting very restless for a very long time. I've been waiting and wondering, when are people going to rise up and start taking back control of our country from DC. Every day we wake up only to find we've been butt raped by Obama again with nobody standing up to this assault. I personally think people are pissed and feeling ripped off and violated by Obama, and all of DC. Americans aren't ready to concede to Obama's, "This is the new norm!" vision of America. Too much blood, sweat, and tears have been shed by too many people to let this half black pencil dick worthless socialist, steal our country. So, what's the thoughts from the locals? Is this the start of the revolt?
