    Default Texas Will be Blue

The only question when Texas turns blue is "How many years from now?". With the latest events, I'm guessing by the 3rd presidential election or 2024.

I've posted this on here before and it was ill received. With the new events, I'm curious if it will still be ill received.

Yes, and the companies from Blue States fleeing to TX for better business environments. Those business will attract people from Blue states seeking opportunity and most often the majority of the current employees vote Blue. While all will not follow the company, some will.

So you think it's a miniature Cloward & Piven strategy scenario? It will take a lot longer than 3 terms to turn Texas around.

The Governor refused to meet O at the airport.

I honestly would like to see the entire nation split into 2. Red and blue 50/50 right down the middle. Let them socialist libbies live just like they want to live with their minions totally dependent on the government for everything. For all practical reasons we are already split like that now but spread out and intermingled amongst each other some more red or more blue depending on where you live. I say lets just end this whole deal and live our lives the way we want separate and happy.

    It was Blue 1932, 1936, 1940, 1944, 1948, 1960, 1964, 1968 and 1976.

If you plot the data using the last 3 elections and using a trend-line, they intersect pre-2032. This means the Dems would hypothetically come out on top in 2032 if the trend continues. If you use the last 4 elections, the end result is the same but farther period (2056). As policies change, immigration and new growth through business expansion occurs, this could get worse for Texas easily.

Texas has a fair amount of liberalism in places like Austin and Dallas, but it's still pretty blood red through out the state. I'm still amazed Texas put a whack job like Sheila Jackson Lee into office. But as a whole I think it's still very conservative. There governors race isn't even close. The conservative Greg Abbott is 12 points ahead of a knucklehead named Wendy Davis, who's another one from the mold of Pelosi, Boxer or Elizabeth Warren. I don't know how to estimate how close or far Texas is from turning blue, but I know it's the Democrat party's wet dream to flip it. God help the USA if that ever happens, I don't think we could ever recover as a nation.

This has been my dream for many years. I don't care how you divide it, north/south, east/west, or diagonal. Then you must pick a side and live it. Liberals have to stay on their side period. No more passing laws on the rest of us, or not enforcing laws that end up flooding our neighborhoods with drugs, gangs, illegals and blight while the privileged people responsible for the mess live in their gated communities off our money.

Things are far too different today to apply historic graphs or trends.

The chasm between right and left has been nurtured, encouraged, and pushed as far as these libtards can possibly push it.

The Dem party is as close to socialists as there is, and the right has pulled in the line from any hint of moderation.

The scenario you describe is more likely to spark the beginning of civil war than to turn TX blue...which is exactly the plan after all.

While the idea has merit it would be short lived because the liberals cannot possibly survive without the conservative/producing class to feed them. The number of liberals who actually produce for themselves can be measured in micro-percentages when counted with the entitlement class that makes up the lion's share and, many of them are government/union employees.

    True.

Think we have immigrant problems now?
We couldn't build a wall high enough to keep that flood of illegals out of "our side".

    Who is John Galt?

And where is he when we need him.

Should be required reading in school or before an election.

Sure we could and patriots would watch the wall for free on their own time just because they love their new country.

Russia divided and moved on although the reasons were much different then ours. In reality, ours is very simple one way or the other you decide. Unfortunately, I see some sort or serious economic disaster on the horizon with massive civil unrest leading to internal civil war on a limited basis preceeding any type of nation separation. Although, if you put it to a popular vote, i think it wold get overwhelming approval from both sides of the aisle.
