Things are looking very favorably for Dr. Carson. And I believe he is a true "patriot" with an impressive story of reaching prosperity from the slums. He appears to be honest and sincere and his position and views regarding our pressing domestic issues are "no nonsense" and "spot on".

However, at this time his position on foreign affairs and his negotiating skills as well as his ability to lead are yet to be uncovered and proven. He is very soft spoken, he walks softly, but he has not displayed his "BIG STICK". However, it is worth noting he had no problem finding the courage to speak the disgusting truth regarding Obama Care in the very presence of Obama himself. (Of course, Dr. Carson later paid the price as having to endure several months of personal and business IRS audits as a result of his speaking his mind at the Presidential Prayer Breakfast)

If his position on foreign affairs is determined to restore the United States as the undisputed leader of the free world, and he steps up and displays profound leadership qualities, and considering the alternatives at this point in time, YES, he will have my vote.

In a heart beat! A political and D.C. outsider who isn't already bought and paid by for by special interest like our current POS, hell Yes! A man of impeccable integrity who is the genuine "American Dream" story. He is everything Obama was supposed to be, an intelligent, articulate, charismatic, black man with genuine compassion for his fellow human beings. But he has no room for the excuse making that's killing a whole sect of our nation. Accountability is a cornerstone in his belief system.

If he does get elected, it will be even more devastating for Obama's legacy. A black man who is a uniter, and a believer in free market capitalism that ushers in the next American boom cycle. I can see Dr Carson being the Black Ronald Reagan.

I'd rather have Charles Krauthammer even though I don't like some of his policies but yes I would vote for Ben Carson.

Knowing what I do about him at this point I would vote for him.As previously stated he is not bought and paid for by special interest. In my mind that is the problem,if the big bankers ( The Bilderburg group) don't own you there is little chance to secure the nomination..

The perfect candidate will NEVER exist. Differences, no matter how insignificant, will sway a voter one way or another but we MUST keep in mind the overall direction a candidate will take us and weigh all the details.

While Romney wasn't perfect for many, he was a valiantly Red-Blooded American, through and through. He knew more about the economy than his opponents and he understood the need for a strong-united-well supported military, given our world conditions. No possible way he would've spend like this fraud has, nor would he have circumvented the constitution like we see almost weekly. Israel would've been fully supported and the money we have sent to the Muslim Brotherhood would still be in our till. The embassy in Libya wouldn't have been left with a stand-down order - and possibly not even attacked. Iran would not be progressing toward their nuclear threat as they are. Putin wouldn't see such flexibility in the White House and I guarantee these scandals would be fully investigated and indictments would be already handed out. In short, we wouldn't be in the mess we are today.
I watched each of the presidential debates and believed that each and every single one of the republican candidates should have ended up in one cabinet position or another. There is no possible way we would have ended up where we are today with these good people involved in lieu of what the sheep handed us.

But, I'm a republican so I do my homework - lots of it. Democrats just follow their entitlements or union bosses' instructions. That's how we arrived in this mess.

Ben Carson is as good a man as America has but his weakness may be in foreign affairs, military and economics. These are three very important issues America needs fixed immediately after the Kenyan's reign of ignorance. Thank a liberal for this mess - if you can find one who is honest enough to admit his mindless position.

Red blooded born in the USA american not bought and paid for and ready to run, Ronmey or Carson...I just ain't that picky any more. Carson is a neurosurgeon
and nothing less that the best and Romney is the consummate business man...Both of those fields of endeavor reward those who have the ability to learn what works and what doesn't, that seems to be important when peoples lives or cubic dollars are at stake. If either one of them lacks foreign policy experience, that's just a matter of appointing the right help....Although both of them are perfectly capable of selling product. Can you imagine the rolling heads the first day in office? With all the help obama hired we are better off without any of them. And without the need to repay favors government will be nothing like it ever has been before....AS for Romney being a Mormon.......i know mormons better than most non-Mormons....If don't have any kind of issue with his faith, nobody else should either and as for Carson being a minority, doesn't that describe an honest politician?

education, free food, free housing, free clothing, free
utilities, and only law enforcement has guns. And believe it or
not, such a place does, indeed, exist: It's called prison."

You think a guy who is a Medical Dr., who runs practices, who runs medical offices, who is on boards of medicine and boards of hospitals is going to be bad at economics compared to the career politicians we've been putting in office the last 2.5 decades? Really?

I didn't say that. I simply compared Dr. Carson's skillset to Romney's where he ran multiple companies, enterprises, even States out of the red well into the black for maximized profitability while employing thousands in the process. That was all.

    Default 1st "AO" term...

I don't know if I'd wish the "1st after obama term" on anyone.... Let's not waste Carson in the aftermath of the worst President in our history...Let's put some "Joe Blow" in there to take the flak for 4 years, and then insert Carson to get to work fixing things.... Give the Congress 6 years to weed out the libtard majority and all the bullshit EPA stuff, and create the best possible chance for Carson to really bring us back to the power and "American way" of life.....

If you put Joe Blow in office and he has an R after his name, the Republican party will be mercilessly crucified until dead. The results of all of Obama's handy work will be blamed on Mr Blow, the Republican, who came in and screwed everything up. The MSM will see to that.

You put Joe Blow in office with a D after his name and the hits will just keep coming, and I'm not sure we can take 4 more years of ineptitude from Washington.

Play your best player now. America is dying for a leader!

Reagan stepped in after a disaster with Jimmy Carter. 20% interest rates, zero consumer confidence and an economy that nearly rivals Obama's disaster (without the debt and unemployment numbers, of course) and he neither spent his time blaming Carter nor whining about what was handed to him.
He simply went to work, one line item at a time until he created a vibrant and strong economy - nationwide, stable interest rates, built a military machine that killed the cold war without a shot being fired, he showed a backbone getting our hostages released from Iran by instilling the fear of death into those weasels and our nation took crap from nobody. The Berlin Wall came down without a shot being fired and the second greatest nation in the world, the USSR, dissolved back into individual nations and governments without force.

This and a myriad more great things were done by a Hollywood actor with a spine. The extent of his political experience was serving as California's Governor but his resolve to make things right was insurmountable. His integrity and resolve were second to none and I believe Ben Carson has these characteristics down pat as well.

Besides Dr. Ben Carson's approach and intelligence here is what I like about him so far... Most "newbies" to the scene get a microphone stuck in their face so many times and asked their opinion on so much that pretty soon they become a self appointed expert on EVERYTHIHNG... They actually believe their opinion has great value and they begin to give it more and more and more... and eventually screw up making some stupid statement that completely discredits themselves... To my knowledge that hasn't happened yet with Ben.
