    Lightbulb Good ole Bill.....?

So what do you think about the Cosby deal? Damn liberals ruined Herman Cain's chance at a run for POTUS. And I don't think anything came from it. Could be the women just have sour grapes... or?

I am in no way condoning sexual misconduct or rape. BUT a woman can put a man in jail with a point of a finger. They DO have the advantage when it comes to winning sexual assault.

With that said, why did not they come out in public with these accusations (and that is all they are at this point) now???

I kinda think that if a women makes what turns out to be false accusations, then she should be charged and stand trial.

One of the sad things about this is that we will never know exactly what has happened. To wait all these years to do this seems just wrong. One of these girls/women claimed that he raped here and then went out to dinner with him a day or two later. Sad if it is true as Cosby has been quite an upstanding icon for years. I wish that we could find out the truth and let the chips fall where they may but I don't think that we will ever hear the truth from either side.

I was around in the 80's I think he raped me to.

I don't know if he did it or not but one of the women said they told the cops but they didn't believe her. A young white girl saying a black celebrity raped her and no one listened back in the day? Now that's a first. Wasn't it even rumored the LAPD had a black celebrity squad back then ....

The local news here last night had an interview with a woman from this area who claims she traveled to meet Cosby starting when she was 15 with her parents approval until it ended at 19. Oh and he paid for her college ed, and she doesn't remember sex occurring just that things didn't seem right and never told her parents until years later. I think Cosby started talking in the past several years about the black men needing to take responsibility and managed to talk himself right off the plantation. If Cosby did these things he had a lot of protection from media and powers that be, who have now left him high and dry. Maybe a talk is needed about these women assuming some responsibility: whoring yourself out for fame that doesn't materialize is not rape. This stuff lessens the impact of women who are legitimately raped and need legal protection not just a payday.

+1!!! One of them admitted to being drunk or "stoned" when she gave him a BJ.

    Default Back "then"..

Going back in time, Cosby was one of, if not the only, black TV "star". The "I Spy" series launched him into stardom back in a time when movie/TV stars, as well as pro athletes, enjoyed a certain immunity from bad press and/or criminal prosecution. A "star" caught driving hammered was given a ride home, not arrested and charged with DUI. (DUI was .15 and above in the 60s/70s)... An allegation of rape was usually ignored unless there was physical evidence associated with a beating....
The "Playboy" mansion, where at least one of these "drugged rapes" took place, was openly advertized as a 24/7 party house frequented by the Hollywood and sports elite. If a woman reported she was raped there she would never be invited back and her "aspirations" would die on the vine...
Did Cosby indulge? Quite likely... Were his actions criminal? Maybe...
Seems to me, as mentioned earlier, his opinions about black culture being the underlying cause of the black man's problems of today have hit a nerve. Blaming "whitey" and fueling the fires of racial divide run strong in today's "progressive" political agendas... I'm sure his condemnation of current black culture played a huge role in these decades later accusations.. The current hoop la about "back then" just tells me he must have been doing most things right for the last 40 years, since there isn't any recent "news" to use against him...
Who is next? Hugh Hefner?? (Damn, ol Hugh has to be what, 90?)
IMO, Cosby was/is one of the good guys...
