Default but, what about pre-existing conditions?

The mindless left touts Obamacare due to it's mandate to accept pre-existing conditions but they somehow overlook the cost of this catastrophic legislation. The law is more than a fundamental change to the country’s health care system. It also is a massive tax hike. As The Heritage Foundation’s Federal Budget in Pictures shows, according to the most recent scores, Obamacare will increase taxes by nearly $800 billion for the period of 2013-2022. Only our liberals who work will be effected however.

I don't agree with it but am praising God for being able to get my wife's back fixed. We couldn't get health insurance without excluding her back. She suffered for 11 years and just last week was pain free. Temporarily until they can do surgery. But the back pain issue was identified thanks to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma.

We lowered our pay to the lowest catagory and pay 490.00 per month. Included in our plan are all of the coverages we don't need and can never use. Also absent of dental and hearing which she needs both.

Glad to see someone getting some use out of it that has been a contributing member of society.

To get the mindless democrats to jump on board, knowing they would not read the legislation, he promised the average family would save $2500. per year. My favorite though, was promising that employers would save as much as 3000% on their employee health care costs. It's going to take the IQ of ramalamadingdong to explain how that works. I know you can't believe he said that so I'll post if for 'ya.

Years ago I posted here in the PRF the BS reasons I had been turned down for health insurance in the past, and all I heard back was if I really wanted health insurance, I could have gotten it. Unless they've lived it, people don't seem to understand how screwed up it was trying to get health insurance with preexisting conditions. I'm glad your wife isn't in pain anymore. Let me ask you this, would you rather your health insurance be the way it is now, and your wife's back is covered, or how it was before where your wife's back was excluded? It seems like a no brainer to me.

It disappoints me there are such self-centered, self serving individuals that really don't give a shit about others. Many of these seem to be of the far-right wing sector.
I don't want to pay more in taxes, but for a country that is supposedly the finest in the world, but yet allows individuals that need health care not have access to it because they can't afford or just outright denied, is pathetic.
Perhaps there may be a day when they too could use a little help so they may better understand what being a good neighbor means.

These same jerks will say the illegals will abuse it, the minorities and poor don't pay for it, and it will bankrupt the country.
What about everyone else, as many will benefit, which make this a better country to be proud of and live in.

For those who criticize Obamacare, what other option has the right wing proposed? The answer is none, and they never will.
They are not concerned about others, they are only concerned with whats in it for them.

It may not be perfect, but it's a start. All of this crap was said about Social Security, Medicare and even the Army long ago.

So Jim let get this strait.
Your neighbor ( let's say is a lazy ass) comes and knocks on your door and says he needs you to acquire him health inssurance and and you need to pay for it too. This is cool with you?

For lazy fuckers to jump on Obummer care make me pay for there laziness...pisses me off. I don't have insurance because I don't want it, and I shouldn't have to pay a tax for not wanting it.

now I'm with helping people with pre-existing medical problems, like a law of no one can be denied for any reason. Along with a cap on how much one can be charged, and a supsidy, for exstream cases. But too have pay for insurance for my lazy ass neighbor/s cause he does not want to work and pay his own way in life.

..... Fuck my neighbors, I got boat parts to buy on the little money I have.

According to the government's own numbers, only 4% of America is covered by Obamacare. Of those, nearly 80% receive some subsidies. You don't have to do the math. The chart explains it well. It's costing so much more than ever imagined that it has proven to be the worst legislation ever passed in America, hands down.

I've got boat part to buy too and no I don't want to pay for others insurance, but why should I have to pay school tax when I don't have kids?
Why does everyone have to pay for roads if they don't drive?
Why do I have to pay for the Congress and Senate when they don't do anything? They get insurance, don't they?
Why do I have to pay for the Space Program, I don't plan on leaving the earth anytime soon?

Most of the people now able to get insurance are good people and while were at it, don't forget all the kids that are now covered, not all are lazy asses.
So your solution would be, they are a casualty of bad circumstances or being less fortunate?
Like it or not, ObamaCare has helped a lot of good people too.

With the wealth in this country, do you really think health insurance can't be afforded?
Is this a great nation, or is everyone out for themselves?
I can afford to do ether one, I choose to share in supporting something that helps.
It isn't perfect, it's a start. It's still the right thing to do.

Health care is not a right any more than boat ownership is. At what point will the liberals finally see that give-away programs are only costing the productive class and seldom benefiting them. Only the liberal mind would believe health care is a right. Go South of the USA and tell me any other country that has national health care. I have Canadian winter neighbors who take care of most of their major medical while they are here in the USA because of the weakness of their national healthcare and England's is far worse.

You liberals need to risk it all by starting your own businesses, then hire a bunch of employees and come back after three decades or so and tell us what you believe but as long as you are dependent upon others to provide for you - either through employment or welfare, you will NEVER understand what is truth about this disaster of legislation. I guarantee you will NEVER support legislation like this when you are part of the productive class.

I agree with you on not paying a school tax, I have no kids and don't like them. I should not have to pay a school tax. People with kids should be charged extra for every kid they have, which as a result might help with unplanned parent hood.

Most of the road taxes come from poeple when they license their autos and trailers, along with buying fuel.

you are right about the senate not doing anything, and why should we have to pay for there lazy asses? Let's fire all of them and put term limits on all polictal positions and the pay. Poor when you you enter office, and poor when you exit office.

Space program you got me on that one.... Wait do you have satellite tv?

Not all the people that are getting insurance are good people, I personaly know a few that are users of the system, and are dirt bags. I wouldn't piss on their face if their mouth was on fire.

Obummercare has also screwed more than it's helped.

By the way this country is not that well off.

How much is your insurance? For me it's more than a truck payment on a brand new dully pick up ( which I would love to have, but can't afford).
