Post Cuba thanks obummer by sending toorps to fight with Russia in Syria

More proof the world thinks we are a joke with this president. He opened the doors of America to Cuba for nothing in return and now they are showing their gratitude by joining Russia and fighting for Assad and against our supposed friends.

    From Fox News.

Top Cuban general, key forces in Syria to aid Assad, Russia, sources say | Fox News

Like Obama, they are socialists. No surprise if they tried to link back up with Russia. Then we'll have Russia on our door step again.

And, coming from FOX news, PLEASE.

Cuba's military is ranked the world's 110th most powerful according to the article.
There are approximately 195 countries in the world.
For crying out loud, many countries don't have a military.

How can that be considered a "most powerful"?

As far as opening the doors to Cuba for nothing, it should have been done long ago and has nothing to do with Syria.
Opening the Doors to Cuba will allow families reunite and be great for business opportunity and tourism for both countries.

Look at the big picture. it gives Cuba an excuse to trade weapons with Russia. We'll have another Bay of Pigs in no time with Russia moving weapons into Cuba. And if you don't believe that, it's already started. If you do some research, you'll find that Russia has been operating ships out of Cuba for a couple years and having war games with Cuba in the Gulf. It doesn't take much to put ballistic missiles in Cuba aimed at the US.

Do you really thing Cuba is going to attack the US with missiles? I don't see that.
    You reference, Bay of Pigs.
Apparently, you don't know the history there. The US encouraged and sponsored an attack on Cuba, and not the other way around.
The US at the last minute failed to provide the support it was supposed to provide. The Bay of Pigs was a disaster and an embarrassment to the US.
Cuba is not an aggressor nation.

There is a tremendous potential for trade and tourism for Cuba, along with getting replacement parts for their 50's and 60's American made cars.
Overall, it's time we try to make friends with Cuba, a Country very near our shores.
    It's in everyones best interest.
I'm not worried about Cuba. It's Russia. Ask yourself why the CIA sponsor the attack. It had to do with the alignment of Cuba and the former USSR.

I'm not afraid of making friends with Cuba as much as the fear of Cuba increasing it's friendship with Putin. It's a very naive thought to believe that Cuba is going to embrace capitalism and align with the US.

There is no way to judge whether Cuba is going to embrace Capitalism or not, the US is the one who has denied co-operation with Cuba.
So, Cuba has maintained a working relationship with Russia, because Russia would work with them.
The rest of the world trades with Cuba.

The Cuban issue is a long past issue and should have been worked out long ago.
Only the Politicians have continued this foolish policy of Isolationism with Cuba.

The US works with other countries that are Communistic in nature, have a dictator or we have had military conflicts.
It's been a stupid policy for no reason, other than they embarrassed the Politician in 1965.
The Cuban Government stopped an American initiated and supported invasion. When the US tried to make Cuba look bad, they said we'd take any Cuban Refugees that could make our shores.
Castro opened their prison doors and said, enjoy the US. Castro got the better of the US in both cases.
Again, that was 50 years ago.
And because no one knows history, it'll happen all over again.

History always repeats itself. As much as we've progressed, much has stayed the same. Ask the Ukrainians Georgians, and Crimeans.

And like my father used to say, "Hope in one hand and shit in the other... See which one fills up first"!

So Russia has started back up with Cuba and has a naval base there. THeir next move was to build a base in the Arctic. Anyone care to guess why they'd want bases in Cuba and the Arctic?

Russia builds massive Arctic military base

You're right.. I'm sorry.. Russia is our friend. They wish us nothing but unicorns and rainbows. Nothing but good comes from Russia.

They're mooring naval vessel in Cuban ports. Maybe not an official naval base, but it's pretty much the same thing. They are opening up bases in Cuba, may not be a naval base, but if they have subs and vessels, it's pretty much a base. All of Cuba's military equipment comes from Russia.

HOW DID THE ENGLISH GET INTO THIS?
That kind of talk scares me, but I'll be glad to put your name at the top of the list.
Which side do choose to be on, Patriot or Tyrant?

Damn, It's like cradle school ...............The English were the misfits we ran out I was referring to ..............I will spill my blood with the Patriots, thank you very much........." Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the CONSENT of the governed,--That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying it's foundation on such principals and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."...............And yes I know there is more...........however I do not believe that what is in front of us or being forced down our throats is in any way a light or transient cause..........JMO

You can spill whatever you want, but what you've written is a bunch of illogical crap.

The government we have is what we have and you're aren't going to change it, and neither will I, so accept it.
Just don't go out and get all "WILD BILL" and spill someone else's blood.

What you've written is illogical. Are you suggesting that we should essentially start a new government?
You write, "-That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying it's foundation on such principals and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."
My question is, according to who?
