Baloney coal companies are doing a booming business exporting what Obama is shutting down here. They have always sold the coal that doesn't burn clean enough to use here. What is shutting down here the cleaner burning high btu content coal.

If it's on the internet, it must be true.
If you look long enough you can find just about anything, true or not.
Go back to your right-wing sites, I'm sure you can find more.

I once did a google search on Forkin'crazy, and almost found something saying he could be trusted.
But, then I hit refresh and it was gone.
    OH WELL.

I wait until I hear it on Fox or something similar.

Actually I build parts for a coal powerplant and get all of the accurate info regarding coal and the industry. And have for as long as I have had my machine shop.

I dont recall the exact percentages but US coal plants have cleaned up their emissions by dozens of percents in the past 10 years and China has increased theirs as many percent as it takes to more than offset that.

The exhaust from a coal burning plant is cleaner than the exhaust from your SUV. The government is putting regulations on coal plant emissions that no monitoring device exists to measure it.

Thanks man. I appreciate your reply. Yea, we have a coal fired plant across the river from my farm. Years ago I remember a funky yellow (if I remember right) cloud around it one day when the air was still. I haven't seen that in a long time. And the stack is still there...

So the layoffs of coal miners were just rumors too? I know saying the EPA is over regulating is an understatement.

Now days I just wouldn't put it past them.

I can see layoffs from the mines that supply the clean burning high btu coal used here in the US. Hard to mine and a very specific vein of the product.

The coal industry as a whole I wouldn't think the percentage of mining companies that supply this product being a significant amount. Maybe that quality of product is in peril. Soros might be betting that the next administration reversing the crippling regulations and that part of the business will ramp back up.

From what I gather he's into Arch Coal (ACI) and it happened months ago. Late Aug early Sept if my memory serves me. After ACI did their 10 for 1 reverse split just to keep from being delisted. Just look at a chart of the company as long as Obama has been in office. We were paying $4+ a gallon of gas and who knows how much per BTU and the whole time ACI and all the rest of the coal co's were going into the shitter. Now oil has fallen to 40+ a barrel has made fracking and a lot of other stuff that would make us energy independent not cost effective is like a heroin dealer dropping his prices to put the competition out of business.
