    Default The numbers are in...Chicago

Well it was a banner year for the Boyz up in the South Side killing fields.

484 dead is the official count.
This falls short of the 2012 count of 509 murdered, but still was one hell of a run. Late November was a notable effort, with like 22 dropped in 19 days.

Last years tally of 424 fell easily, and predictions are 500 will be easily reached in the upcoming year.

Of these 484, a quick perusal (without doing the math) shows roughly 85% black victims. There were two I recall making national news...so it is clear that BLM only when they fit a very strict criteria...IE: being shot by a white cop.

You can explore the data and put faces to those dead right here:

I wonder if any any of those shot dead "could have been olamo's son?"
It would make a powerful statement if somebody were to obtain a photograph of all those shot dead, arrange them lined up side by side in a photograph (prolly take several rows to get them all in frame) and place them at o'lamo's feet with him towering over. I think that would bout sum it all up correctly. Really show how much the CHI' TOWN HUSTLER cares about BLM and gun control.

Ch-Iraq had a good run but per-capita basis the deadliest year in Baltimore history ends with 344 homicides. Deadliest year in Baltimore history ends with 344 homicides - Baltimore Sun
Nearly 90 percent of the year's homicides were the result of shootings, renewing calls for new gun laws. Counting nonfatal shootings, gun violence was up more than 75 percent compared to last year, with more than 900 people shot.

Maryland and Baltimore has some of the strictest gun laws in the country (you hear O'Malley preaching about it every debate). We already have background checks between privet sellers and buyers. We already have the "gun license" which is nothing more then a cash grab bullshit because it doesn't do anything that wasn't already done except giving the state another $120 fee before you can buy it. Baltimore has had a Dem mayor since 1967. Besides the Governor we have now (been there less then a year) Maryland has had one Rep Gov for 4 years since 1969.

Just think how high the numbers would be if the hoodrats used hollow points and other good ammo instead of the cheap FMJ.

Well, if you look at the stats, in the past 25 yrs gun ownership and jumped by leap and bounds while violent crime has been dropping. If you see something wrong with more guns, something is wrong with you.

And I think it should be legal to carry open or concealed legally without permit nation wide.

Very few unless they were obtained by LEO. These stats include all gun related deaths justified or not.
