    Default Mod question?

There have been several threads that have been moved to the PRF, and I understand the policy/argument that this is a private site and you guys can do what you will, but some subjects posted in the "open" forum draws more input and opinions and discussions. I know there are people who don't want to be involved and they don't not have to click the thread.......I know that some don't like the discussion because it can be firery due to the passion around the subjects and again those people don't have to enter the thread. And then you have some who in the past engaged aggressively in the past to a point of starting fights and now they move to a passive aggressive mode of whining secretly to move things and complain. I am not saying all or most PRF or quisi PRF subject's should be out there but one or two hear or there that can pull in fresh opinion would be great.

I believe if you have a paid subscription to Powerboat, Chris will let you talk up any boat that peaks your interest. But than maybe I'm wrong

    Good question.

Why not just keep the political motivated threads in the political forum. The same five or six people engage each others' threads over there that engage over here.

You can bet that every thread started will be bashing liberals and the same five or six will join the bandwagon. Everyone knows about the different forums on here. If people were interested in arguing with you, they would do it over there.

The tone of the threads you guys start are not about debating politics. They're mostly about bashing parties. Most don't care to here it.

Just my opinion on what I have read of course.

Political Retards Forum. It's where threads from people that don't understand the rules end up.

Political threads should be in the political forums. That is why it was created. If people don't want to go there that is certainly everyones choice.

We have been letting them run a little in open water for some air time, but that has been a judgment call to do so. When the threads get nasty as many have been lately the judgment then becomes that they all get moved immediately. We really are not looking for heated arguments in the open water forum. It is meant and intended for topics that people enjoy. Not all can post in the PRF due to not following rules in the past continually. That is not permission to post these topics in open water instead.

Knew you could not resist.......Ultra, you and others don't have to open any thread you don't want and if it is one you have opened and then decide you don't want to read then you can close it......nobody is forcing you. I think Rex is a fair man and allowing some of them to stay here and there is reasonable.....but here is my question to you...what about these threads?

Havasu 21-23, Havasu weekend and Bull head regatta; should these be in the West Coast South forum?
Prop Shops in OC should be in the props section?
Stolen Sand rail should be in the insurance-stolen section?
JV custom trailers should be in the tow vehicles?
Hot Rod should be in the of water section?

Should I pm Rex and complain? I think it is reasonable to allow some to hang out for awhile and solicit other thoughts.......if you don't want to praticipate 26, by all means stay away.

Those threads haven't been started with the sole purpose to stir up controversy. The bitter hatred some of you same few show in starting the democrat bashing threads is retarded.

Why try so hard to start an argument? Have your views. Debate intelligently. But most of the threads are started with the same overtone. Not expecting a debate, but expecting controversy.

That's what the other forum is great for. Maybe step back and try to figure out why nobody wants to argue with the same 'club' over there. It's a no win situation. Not intelligent banter. Only the 'my opinion is right, the rest of you are stupid liberals' thing. Over and over and over.....

Is there some bickering? sometimes, is there passion? all the time....the liberal bashing.......with your 16 posts can I assume that you were not around with the resident liberals during the last presidency and their relentless bashing? No one cried to the mods then, you neutral guys did not stand up and say the same torward the liberals and their bashing, there was no need, we engaged them back and confronted them appropriately. I would expect Ultra and some of the others to stand up, be honest and say yes, we did that then.......we will see.

Again, you are free to not engage but yet you seem the need......Sounds like you have some intrigue about the destruction of this country?
