Default Why Do They Call It Health Care Reform?

When it's really government run health INSURANCE!

Our health care is the best in the world but it's not cheap. The best never is. It does not need any reform. What needs reform is the bullshit malpractice lawsuits that drive up the cost of health care, both in insurance premiums and extra tests that are not needed but done so doctors and hospitals can CYA.

So the Obama wants to provide free health insurance to everyone and have the "rich people" that make over $250K /year pay for it. And he wants to make sure everyone is covered even if they have a pre-existing condition. Well that's going to be a real money maker. It shows how little he knows about business. There is a reason insurance companies won't cover pre-existing conditons. It's like getting in a car wreck and then going out and buying car insurance and having them pay to have the car fixed.

In fact, that should be Obama's next plan, governement provided auto insurance. You will be covered regardless of your driving record. Multiple violations? No problem. Accidents? No problem. DUI's, license suspentions, hit and runs? You'll be covered. Don't worry, the "rich people" will pay for it. And when costs go up we'll just raise their taxes and redefine "rich people" to include those making over $100K per year, then $50K per year and eventually anybody with a job will be considered "rich" and will have to pay.

I'm with ya. Any one who has sat on there ass most of their existence (only a walk to the mailbox or to the corner for a cold 1 in a paper bag, paper bag being littered on to someones property later) should not require major medical support nor expect it,Fok em!Working hard should have it's rewards,to hell with the slackers...

We already have socialized healthcare. It's called Medicare and it's bankrupt.

The liberals are asking us to give Obama time. We agree and think 25 to life would be appropriate.

It's spreading the wealth to those who would not pay for it anyway in order to buy votes for the liberal socialist. Come Sept 2010 they want to say, look what we did for you. We got you medical coverage, gave you money even if you never contributed. We made this a fair society. You know, good for those who work hard and make a lot of money and good for those who work hard and don't make a lot of money. For those that don't work or are here working illegally,we'll just share with you too, cause your part of this great society.

One other thing, none of this applies to us who make the laws. We're very special and have our own laws.

America is the land of equal opportunity, not equal success.

Was having this exact discussion this morning. They're focusing on reforming the wrong thing. The govt. is only going to complicate and foul things up within the private sector of medical insurance/care

You will notice in the media that "health care" and "health insurance" are used interchangeably. Wrong.
You will also notice that in the media "polls" people want national "health care," but of course what they want is "free" "health care", meaning someone else pays for it.
In the media, Republicans are against "health care", they want people to be sick.

That looks like the Kenyan Obstetrician who delivered Husseino and signed his "real" birth certificate in chicken blood that is filed away in the small African village where he was actually born......

So I listened with gritting teeth to his speech last night. He said the two biggest causes of our deficit are Medicaid and Medicare. Two government run medical insurance programs that have failed miserably. So how can anyone believe that his government run health insurance will be any different?

My company pays half my health insurance now. Once Obama's plan goes into effect how long do you think it will be before my employer tells us that due to increased taxes he can no longer afford to pay half and seeings how we can get it free from the government he will no longer provide us with insurance?

    Bingo.

The taxpayers essentially pay for it. But our government not only wants to keep taxing us for it, they want us to pay for it directly as well. Gets it off their backs and on to ours, twice.

    Its all horseshit.
