    Default Economy poll...

    A one question poll.

DO NOT MISS YOUR CHANCE TO CAST YOUR VOTE:

This is your chance to vote on Obama's performance on this Economy-AT&T/Yahoo Poll....

NOTE: this is a totally unbiased poll. The question is stated very simply... and, to the point. No tricks. No hidden messages. No nothing. JUST A SINGLE, SIMPLE QUESTION. There is no way that anyone can say that it was not a fair poll... or, that it was "phrased" in a way that it can be interpreted later... to fit someone else's desired answer. In other words... it is a spin-doctor's "nightmare."

NOTE: After you vote, you will see a second page that shows the running total and what the opinions are.

    Notice the options.

There is no "He ****ing sucks" option.

I saw this poll a couple weeks ago, there was half as many people who voted at that time and 76% thought he was hurting more than helping. Now it 80%, I guess he isnt pulling anything over on the GP is he.

I was a little worried in 2008 as to how far and fast the economy would fall, but things seem to be straighting out. We are hiring 300 people in the Raleigh NC area, and in 2008 hired 2 engineers in the phoenix area.

Look at the stock market/401k's all seems good this year. I'm up 25%. My house value jumped 23% in the last 2 months. I'm making money, saving some, and spending the rest. I even see new cars on the road.

I'm a little worried about the gas jump over the last few weeks, and hope interest rates can stay the same for a couple years to get us clear of 2007/2008 problems with foreclosures.

Housing is looking interesting for long term capital growth. I'm batting around the idea of buying a couple small homes (no pools) to rent out for the next 5 years.

The American economy is resilient despite all efforts by the Chimp to socialize one of the greatest economic systems in history. The impact of Dodd, Pelosi, Frank, and Reid and the rest of the liberals to share the wealth by setting policy allowing people to buy what they can't afford, hurt the country's progress but did not stop it. Most recessions last about 16 months despite government intervention. This one is no different. What is different is the run away inflation that will occur if the liberal agenda of Cap and Tax, Single payer healthcare, and all the other retarded deficit spending ideas of the liberals get enacted. We've given up our manufacturing base, the source of jobs that actually produce goods. The service sectors such financial institutions and insurance don't produce crap yet charge exorbitant fees for very little produced. These jobs are volatile leaving the American economy exposed to a huge drop in GDP if other countries move toward China as the new economic standard.

America is the land of equal opportunity, not equal success.

And I wouldn't credit a bit of any of it to him. Joe Biden said they're waiting to dole out the money to the appropriate areas (districts). My guess is to those certain voting blocs that continue to support their agenda.

Yeah, but most of the welfare recipients don't have their own computer to vote. This poll is simply unfair to them.

It's like trying to find Obama stickers on cars in rush hour traffic. They simply don't exist as these people in rush hour have jobs.

What makes you think that welfare recipients don't have a computer, Blackberry or cell phone. You need to stand in more grocery store lines and watch the people buying with food stamps. Take note of what they buy and follow them to there car. I know its not the case everywhere, but it is the case at my Nob Hill Foods.

Doc's comments, I suspect had a heavy dose of sarcasm...besides how where else would the hood population learn to turn an automatic pistol sideways and fire it reducing the total accuracy and defeating the inherent recoil dynamics that allow you to naturally put the muzzle back on target immediately.....computer games bought with entitlement and crime money!

Here is the latest poll info....pretty much the same other than the number of votes.
Personally for me things went down hill fast. I was down 19% in 08 compared to 07 income. This year I will be LUCKY to make 30% of what I made in 07, so my income is down 70%. As if that is not bad enough, I can honestly say that we can not find the optimism on the horizon. This month the reality has hit that I need to consider a new career for the future.
