    Default More on Town Halls

I posted on Donzi's thread about Town Halls and it got me looking a little further. The people showing up at Town Halls who are described as a "mob" from what I can see are real "folks" who probably never had the courage (or reason) to speak up before. They are not "polished" or schooled in the art of protest. Then again, who is schooled in the art of protest? Even back when I was in college, as a Biology major I always wondered how people had the time for all of the "sit ins" and other forms of protest. A quick check of their major and 9 times out of 10 it was one or another of the "social" sciences. Then I found out what I had already expected. The Left really does pay people to have their opinion and agenda! Check these two job listings out from Craig's List. Job 1 Job 2. Now how does a non-profit organization that does nothing more than "organize" hire 32 employees at $24K per year plus benefits?

And somehow we get labeled as organizing an effort to disrupt Town Halls. We don't have the infrastructure because we have jobs! By the time we actually speak up, we may be a little angry, but without all of the protest training, and the fact that we actually have true convictions about our opinions; our "passion" may come out as anger.

Anyway, now my blood pressure is up so I'll sign off for now.

    ---Rob

I have always felt this way, responsible or people who fall into the personal responsibility column of life or conservative back ground don't tend to call in on their employers or call in sick when event's like this happen. They work and are responsible to their employer, trade, coworkers and family. I never wanted to point it out in a general term but since you have opened the window here I am. I have 5 offices and when a big liberal thing is planned I can tell who is going to call in sick or who is going to request time off. Conservatives just work, but the tide is turning and it is throwing the libtards for a loop!

My blood pressure is always up because of this stupidity......Go to keep fighting.

BS,BS, & BS! Im so tired of all of a sudden these supposed law makers are calling us radical whacks. I'm not part of any group other than hard working, honest Americans.
I scored 50% on the conserative quiz the other day.
I don't believe in these people not listening to us.
I don't beleive in alocating 8 more jets for whom ever is going to use them in Congress. Maybe that's why we are so radical! And don't believe you!
If the state of Califorina wants to elect arogant, stupid people like Nancy P. that's your problem. We have ours with Play for Pay ,Bill Richadson. Let Cal. go under.
When is the congress going to learn we are not going to sit down and take it any more.
As I've said before there are no stats. cover the loss of small business people. We're going down, but not without a fight.
    Thanks, Sundance

The Air Force was not happy when they got more planes then they ask for. They only get the money for the planes. The Air Force then has to go and find the money for pilots, crew, maintenance, storage, parts, etc., etc.

Richardson is going to soon have to face his sins. Its just a matter of if there going to be able to keep the indictment from coming down while he's still in office or not.

I've talked about this before and it's showing to be accurate. The radicals and protestors from the 60's-70's are alive and well and have done their work to get us to this point. O is just the one they finally got positioned and elected to do their "deeds". These people have thoroughly embedded themselves in our colleges where they've trained/indoctrinated students who have moved on to teach in all our schools. Many more went in to the communications field and basically control the media.

Text books and lessons are molded to fit their philosophy of hate for the American Capitalist system and as a result we have arrived at the point in time where they feel they can invoke the perfect Socialist Utopia.

O picked up on this and was seasoned by Bill Ayers and friends. He was and still is nothing but a community organizer.

These socalled "pacifists" are anything but docile and will stop at nothing to push their agenda of hate. This in my opinion is going to get nasty before it gets better. They are "in" and they will not be easily removed. America is presently at the greatest Social Divide in history. Be prepared to be called anything and everything derogatory as these people truly hate and will go to no ends to survive and change/destroy the country our ancestors proudly built.

Fixed it for ya Tex... Saying that he WAS/IS a community organizer implies some level of success...

They get the money from the government, our money.
"Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though" President Barack Obama.

Liberals just chose to ignore relevant information about the world they live in, and then call themselves sophisticated for having chosen to be more stupid than God made them.

Hell, give credit where credit is due, he's running rampant and done more damage than any tyranical street idiot before him. He's fleeced 52% of the American voters into believing his lies and is coming closer than Osama, Hitler, Mao, Castro, and any other national enemy we've had through the history of America at destroying our way of life.

He is evil personified and his lies know no bounds........

I read today that Obama's town hall meeting went off without a hitch.

Then I remembered that they hand pick democratic donators to the election and give them questions to ask. He did it at his earlier meetings, I have no reason to believe he didn't do it again today...

Little more than scripted bs. People are seeing through this nonsense. I hope he keeps it up.

I can't understand why Richardson has not been brought up on charges already. Maybe we need to get St. Pete and Carl Rove involved. Where is Heather when we need her?
Also for the hippies of the 60's, that was me! Don't lump us together with Bill Ayres and the far left.
One broadcast last night said that it was the people of the 60's that were standing up and protesting at the Town Hall meetings. It's damn sure that the generations behind us don't know how to stand up for their rights.
Every damn one of you on this board should be going to the Town Hall meetings and the Second round of Tea Parties.
If you don't, then don't complain.
Stand up for what you believe in and do it in public or it dosen't count.
    Thanks, Sundance

I understand about Hippies, trust me, I ain't lumping anyone together.

But I was around the Weathermen in Ann Arbor MI in the 70's and heard the whole story of how there needed to be revolution. I listened to Jerry Rubin and Dr Benjamin Spock and Willam Kunstler talk on campus as invited speakers by our local radicals who were mainly led by grad assistant Poly Sci majors. Hung around with the "crowd" afterwards. It got out of hand politically but that is what these guys with Che posters on their walls were all about. It wasn't a game to them, it was bring down the establishment and that's what they are doing. These guys are still active and trust me they have worked hard top get us to this point.

They kept their heads down well during Reagan and the Bushes. Even were a little scared of Clinton. But now they got one of their own in there and it's going to be hell to pay until they are eleiminated.
