Default Rep. Wilson heckles president on Senate floor

Taking a cue from the recent raucous Town Hall Meetings, Republican Joe Wilson shouted "That's a Lie!" during President Obama's healthcare speech last night.

Is this acceptable behavior? And does it cast a positive or negative light upon the Republicans?

Sounds like he called it like he saw it.
I wish more would politicians would stand up and represent the people
acceptable behavior...... I'm not sure. Stealing from tax paying Americans for generations to come is not acceptable behavior either

I think that it was acceptible only if the President did indeed lie.

He is going to pay a political price for what he did even though I agree with the content of his two word statement...

That POS lies EVERY day to Americans. His Presidential career is a lie.

He can't get interviewed by ANY outsiders for fear of getting called out on the lies. Didn't he promise transparency???? When's that gonna start????

So you would have had no problem with the Dems doing the same a few years ago during W's speech about the WMD in Iraq or the yellowcake from Niger? That has long since been proven to be a lie.....

It just seems like discourtesy and rudeness has become the norm these days and our two party system is the worse for it.

Actually, based upon intel, WMD did exist. Just a minor issue in the overall scheme of things, but entirely negates your point. You've got to stop accepting the crap from the "mainstream" media. That was a lesson I learned immediately after coming back from overseas the first time...

I don't know anything about WMD.

Accountability has left the political arena a long time ago. I think accountability should start at the top.

If in fact it was true, then I applaud him for calling out Obama. If it wasnt, then why bring more heat onto the Rep party. However, I think damnnear every political figure is out for their own gain, and lies to their respective voter base.

Well The President should have more respect for our Country than to lie damn near every time he opens his mouth. Do you not think he is "stretching the truth" about this health care debate?

If he told the truth...that 80% of the people are satisfied with their health care and he wants to turn the system up-side down to benefit 20% of the people his program would go nowhere.
