    Default O and the CC

In his new move to the middle so he can try and stem the fall from grace, the "great" one tries to schmooze the Chamber of Commerce with assurances he's "business friendly". His shuck and jive ends with no real plan on how he will stimulate business, yet he calls on business to shell out their own money to expand and hire workers, "Invest in America......" as he calls it.

"We are poised for progress. Two years after the worst recession most of us have ever known, the stock market has come roaring back. Corporate profits are up. The economy is growing again," he said.
But the president offered few specifics on how he intended create new jobs. He outlined five key areas where he said the United States needs to move forward and Washington needs to make significant and immediate strides: innovation, education, infrastructure, tackling the national debt and government reform.
Freeman said the Chamber wants to hear more specifics on the Obama Administration's job creation plan.
No mention of his drilling morotorium and how it's chased Offshore Rigs and the hundreds of thousands of jobs they provide domestically, no mention of his EPA goons making air quality regulations a penance towards the Chem and Power industries, and no plan to call for nuclear power plants to be built which could stimulate tons of jobs. Instead we hear about infrastructure improvements and other stimulous funded projects that take money from the tax payer to go into projects that will not promote long term business. Sure we need infrastructure but we need wasy to pay for it and to earn money to maintain it.

Where's the plan O, the one that actually helps business get competitive and creates real income to the business community, American workers, and tax dollars into all government coffers? His trade agreements are just a start, we need to settle our domestic issues and find profitable ways to ramp up manufacturing with real long term needs and stability.

O wants to stabilize business and remove peaks and valleys, ups and downs, but the fool can't get out of the "down valley" until he realizes his first 2 years have done nothing but curtail confidence which is key to progress, the above mentioned moratorium being a prime example of his ineptitude. He's either really really stupid, or really really sneaky in his ulterior motives.

Just more hot air and rhetoric from the White House squatter it seems....

Yep. In my business GROSS Profits are up. GROSS sales are down. The reason being is I have had to cut anything and everyting I could to stay in business. Running one man short. So I will pay more in taxes as a result. Don't get me started. And where is this recession over at? We have not seen $hit yet.

Every single "investment" he has made was done with dollars we had to borrow and the end result didn't produce what he hoped it would. Why can't he just admit these failures and learn from them? Instead, he continues to speak of "investing" some more.

I'll tell you were he can get some return on his investment:
    * Cut about 40% of our 1000 Federal agencies
    * Discontinue all welfare to able bodied individuals
    * Stop Foreign aid payments
and spend those dollars on employers willing to hire, train and employ our entitlement class from the streets and the government payroll in unnecessary agencies.

Business would boom immediately, employers would line up for these funds and training opportunities (who wouldn't hire more employees if the government was going to pay their salaries for a period of time?) and our GDP would soar again while our entitlement class would be forced to actually become productive for the first time in four generations and it would all be paid from funds already being bled from our system.

    How could that hurt?

When one has never worked on the management side of business, never had to make a P&L work into the black, never had to make payroll, never had ensure long term stability, never had to make sure that the employees are qualified, never had to make their customers happy to ensure viability, one doesn't know what to do about business stability. Experience is the key. You don't learn it at Harvard or a union meeting or as a government employee pushing a pencil.

This goes for Obama as well!!!

I like Obama's position on this. Share the company's succcess with your employees seems like a good policy...limitless greed at the top needs to stop.

Typical attitude from someone that never built anything or hired anyone. Just someone that wants theirs even to the detriment of the company. "I want mine first!!!"

Where are you when the company is hurting and the owner has to hock everything to keep the company open and provide jobs for the employees? Put their home and complete life on the line to keep the company open? I've rarely seen any of the employees kicking in their own money to keep the company in the black. Only when they're about to loose their job that they want to help the owners. It's just "give me mine!!!". When the company is doing well, you want a raise (rightfully) but when the company's doing poorly you never want to help out!

Again a post from someone that has never built a business of their own, hired anyone, or had to make sure that the P&L was profitable. Just someone that took from their employer.

We also need to round up the millions of illegals.
As a punishment for invading, make them build the wall, mine field, moat with crocodiles, fence, and kick them out!

Imagine the savings, jobs, this would create.

Yeah, but think about how poorly the wall will be built. You think the unions would allow this?

Relax, I don't think he is talking about small mom and pop companies like you seem to be describing. He is addressing the mega-million dollar corporations. The greedy fat cat thieves who carpet bag after the taxpayers open doors in foreign land with billions in aid and military force. Those are the fat cat assholes he is talking about.
