    Default Misplaced Rage?

I read this article, and wondered why all the rage against unions, government employees, etc when we should all really be pissed at the assholes from Wall Street. Those are the people that ****ed America, and they basically got away scott free. Why Isn't Wall Street in Jail? | Rolling Stone Politics

Did someone fart?.....I swore I heard someone fart. In fact it does smell pretty bad here.

I don't have rage against gov workers or unions, although I think many unions have outserved their usefulness. Yes the wall street bastards (and their corresponding buddies within gov) should all be the target of rage for this mess.

I glanced at the article. I already know (imo) where the blame for this belongs.

As a small business owner in Wisconsin I think alot of the resentment towards PUBLIC unions is that over the last decade our state has seen 10,000 manufacturing jobs leave and nearly everyone whos still got a job has seen pay cuts and benefit cuts while the public sector has had NONE.

So as the previous administration kept ramming tax increases up our asses to pay the public employees benefits that nearly nobody else has, the taxpayers of this state said no-more and handed both legislative bodies and the governors office to Republicans.

This is not right to work legislation by a long shot and has absolutely zero to do with private unions. I would also say that 99% of us in the private sector would kill for the benefits that are offered in the Budget Repair Bill.

As far as Wall Street goes, I think that there is more than enough evidence to put both Wall Street players and their government counterparts in prison if theres the political will to do so.... which there isnt. As someone that dabbles in stocks and investments, Im shocked at what I percieve as market manipulation that is going on right now by both the fed and the big trading houses using computer algorithm trading.

Well there you have it folks, right from the horse's mouth. The public sector does not deserve better than the private sector. especially since it is payed by the private sector. And public sector should not have collective extorsion rights at the taxpayers expence, once again. If anyone thinks this is going to be isolated thier nuts. You are going to be witnessing the defanging of the public sector unions. Other states like these are going to be passing similar laws or laws like what Indiana are doing,. Bills that make them Right to Work States. A person should have the choice wether they want to be in the union or not. Not, you can't work here unless you are union BS. And the unions know that's the end for them. And the Dem party with it.

    Default misplaced rage and blame

Many of us would be making close to if not the same wages as union workers if wages were not frozen for the last 10 years. Unions do provide a useful service. They allow workers to have a say in there work life. Unions need to change to keep up with changing times. Business and Unions need to work together to make sure that it is a win ,win situation for everyone. Greed and Corruption are not limited to either one.Why do many of you feel that is fine to cut wages and benefits to average workers while admiring, gushing, basically kissing corporate Americas a-s. Wall street big whigs should be in prison and confiscation of all there assets for what they did. while corporate big whigs with there multi million salaries draining the profits if there is any from there companies. We are fighting a war for corporations in Iraq. Stop the madness. Stop being played. Many on here defend small corporations which I have no problem with. I have problem with Mutil-national Corporations which have the power to manipulate the economic system in the U.S. If its too large to fail it needs to be broke up as it is a national security risk.

Bosscat, Some here are simply mind numbed diddo heads! They just are parroting the corporate capitalist utopia propaganda that Rush, Beck, and Hannity tell them. Faux news is their guiding light. Like moths they spin around this magic light of lies and believe it is good for them. Being brainwashed the poor things cannot help identifying with the wealthy crooked CEOs. As long as they hate liberals, unions, social programs, Obama, Democrats they will know in their hearts they are true patriots just like Rush told them....
