    Default 24 Hour deadline!

Thank God it was not a 26 hour deadline........

"Now they have one day to return to work before the state loses out on the chance to refinance debt, saving taxpayers $165 million this fiscal year," Walker's spokesman Cullen Werwie said in a statement.
"Failure to return to work and cast their votes will lead to more painful and aggressive spending cuts in the very near future," the statement said.

Sounds like the Dems are going to really get fu*ked on this one if they don't show......costing the state more money and making layoffs even more painful.....great plan left leaning 's!

"On every question of construction (of the Constitution) let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invent against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed."
Thomas Jefferson letter to Justice William Johnson, June 12, 1823

And yet many of these ego maniacs representing the union's and their personal interests, continue to argue their actions are just. They can't accept that rulings and votes of the majority have gone against them.

Libs are like spoiled children hearing he word "No' for the first time....

I can hear their logic (or lack of it) as they speak to each other:
"We need to go back and vote to do what's right for the State but our primary campaign contributors (the unions) will pull future funding and we'll never serve another term again. I'm so confused."

This Michigan standoff is a good demonstration of how politics is only about obtaining money, grabbing and holding power, re-elections, destroying your political opponents, and gaming the rules. Both sides do it. The brilliant ideals of our founding fathers calling for a free, egalitarian, and highly moral system of government was long ago swept into the dustbin of history.

So Z, is a "Michigan Standoff" anything like a "Mexican Standoff"??????

And why don't the Wisconsin folks where all this is happening have their own "Standoff"?????

Will we soon have a "Kenyan Standoff" in DC when the Dems can't get their way??????

So when did members of the Republican party do the same?
"Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though" President Barack Obama.

Liberals just chose to ignore relevant information about the world they live in, and then call themselves sophisticated for having chosen to be more stupid than God made them.
