WTF?.......Every s.o.b. responsible for this should be charged for stealing from American taxpayers.........Who in the hell would approve of this crap? We are never going to "appease" those motherf***ers that want to kill us by sending money.....

Lots of reaching claims in this article, but also some good points.

I think this is likely a half truth article, but Id be interested in hearing some clarity o n both sides i.e. if this is a fund for war reconstruction vs another type of actual program.

(given the amusing fact that the second troublemakers like Muqtada al-Sadr cant handle themselves in combat they run into a church.)

I dont know enough to know how mad it makes me without knowing more details.

    Got any more?

At what point in this economic crisis we are in do we stop the madness and discontinue payment for absolutely all non-essential services?

I don't think it's gonna happen Doc.....We continue to hand out checks to the lazy here on our own soil....We receive hate in return....There's hardly any return on our investment when we continue to invest in anything with no logic.....Simple logic, take care of those that take care of their own....everyone else can starve,by their own choice, not mine......

I agree. The years of trillion dollar warfare in the Mideast would be a great place to immediately start discontinuing payment. Thousands of Americans dying and being wounded there is not a good policy either.

Go right ahead Z. Knock yourself out. I am sure it isn't anything I haven't heard before. I have stated my feelings concerning subsidies on a few other posts, in short I'll do it again:

We get rid of one, we get rid of them ALL!!! INCUDING minority and STUDENT GRANTS, Affirmative Action (another subsidy I despise) and many, many more.
I feel the same way about ALL non-profit organizations.

Id prefer to get the facts about the story before I render judgement-

Could be 100% BS - could be true.

If true its maddening and must stop.

You are the type to curse farmers for being corporate America but - you should remember not to curse him with your mouth full of food. It's bad manners and rather hypocritical.

And you curse the welfare system and any "entitlement program" while claiming to be a Christian yet Jesus said people should sell all their possesions and give the money to the poor. That doesn't seem hypocritical to you?

Cherry picking from singular events in the Savior's life, after seeing into the heart of a wealthy young man who was too proud of his possessions to let go, are we? Another important lesson over the heads of the unbelievers.

Now, shall we post up a list of what each of us has done, and continues to do, for society without thought of reward and compare? You might want to contact Ultra John before entering this arena with someone who actually understands service as the Lord sees it.

Lastly, if you believe handing out welfare checks is good for society, I'm sorry for you.
It's crippled generation after generation, robbed them of self worth, drained self esteem and ruined any hope of saving some and cost our society many many great people who otherwise would have made huge differences for all of mankind as productive citizens.

You know, like you used to be when you worked, produced a product/service, paid taxes, etc.
