    Default The Past Election

Proved something to me,that grass roots projects can achieve tremendous results. The time has come to demand drilling on and off shore and ignore the Green People. This has been a disaster for 20 years and we are still in the same place.I would do anything to help a group to confrone every candidate and demand the drilling and new refineries and employeening thousands of AMERICANS.I am sick of this talk and no action.

The mid-term elections were all about the grass-roots movement to cut the tax & spend liberal ways and cut government back to the bone. Now that it's beginning in places like Wisconsin, the "old guard" that was "shellacked" in the mid-term elections are picketing, revolting, threatening lives and tearing their own capital building up. The TEA Party is very much alive and, believe it or not, it's comprised of not only republicans who want a greater measure of conservative representation but democrats and independents as well. I've encountered a good many as I attend the rallies often and we're making progress. Nearly every single Republican committee chairman elected recently are TEA Party Patriots.

The Mid-Term "shellacking" was not the answer, but the very beginning of a strong move to restore America away from political correctness and liberal ways to shrinking government at every level, cutting taxes, bolstering business and our economy while restoring constitutional values and enforcing the laws on our books.

We can each choose to lead, follow or get shellacked.

Corporate power may have requested the ridiculous bailouts & phony stimulus but your Kenyan pushed for it and wrote the check with borrowed funds from our children and grand-children's piggy banks.
He has as much business sense as a shovel.

And we owe it all to obumer.....if he hadn't blown so much money, told so many lies, tried to push his addenda just a little to hard and fast things on capital hill might just be business as usual.
All he has really done is make every problem so obvious that anybody who bothers to spend a minimal amount of time reading and watching the news can see where we were headed......And yes, the mid terms were just the beginning and Wisconsin is just proof of of how far what is now the majority is willing to go to solve the problem.....And that is how problems are truly solved...at the source....
Democrats are still playing trim a little here, cut a little there and claiming they have actually done their part....
I think the only way to make a difference is just cut everything 10-15% right off the top....beginning with government employee salaries and benefits, to every dollar congress spends......and watch how fast things become more efficient....to think some committee would be able to find government waste,
come up with a solution and implement it within the next 10 years is lunacy.

Just like Wisconsin...such a simple solution....all those union employees crying poverty....cut the money, and they will learn to make better use of what they have...by next year most will have forgotten about it....

Especially if cutting the budget ends up to be the real stimulus the economy needed to get back on track again...

I can't wait to see what the tea party comes up with next election...Democrats ought to wake up and find a candidate that has some kind of potential to win......cause obami is a one hit wonder and even cubic dollars won't get him re-hired......

not, such a place does, indeed, exist: It's called prison."

You really are a piece of work. Did you know the profit on a gal of gasoline for the oil companies is 3cents a gal. That is not the proffit for the service stations though. Yet the Gov takes $1.80 a gal in tax's. So lets put your stick it to the oilcompanies theory to work. Let's force them to reduce thier proffits by 83.3%. That would mean they only make .5 of a cent profit instead of 3 cents. Now you save 2.5 cents a gal.Now put 40 gal in your truck. Wow you saved $1.00. But the greedy Gov still got thier $72.00 a tank load and the oil companies got thier 20 cent profit. So who is really responsible for the high cost of fuel.

Here's one for the libs here:
How many believe every single dollar of fuel tax is spent on our nation's roads as originally intended? Just like every other pool of government funds it has been looted for a myriad of other things, under the guise of transportation.
    CUT HERE - CUT NOW!!!!

Yep just like SS it probably gets rolled into the general fund and used moreso for entitlement programs or to be given to forign countries. If every penny of tax's from fuel, tires, etc were spent on transportation infrastructure we would be driving on roads made of gold.

How true that is....Anyone remember the Federal Highway Trust Fund?.....Didn't think so. It WAS a trust fund dedicated to highway construction, maintainence and repairs. It was funded by fuel tax revenue and Federal HIghway Use Tax that commerical trucks pay [IRS #2290] and was, by law to be used only for Interstate highways, secondary roads and bridges. That all came to an end when Clinton used the FHTF and combined it with the general fund to make the debt appear smaller so he could claim a balanced budget. Nothing more than smoke and mirrors.
Now highway funds are used for bike paths, hiking trails, mass transit, trains, ferries and more is going into these pet projects than gets spent on roads. Its no wonder why our roads are in the deplorable condition they are in.

Yup. Over $ 300 billion in that "trust" fund. The theft is not on as grand a scale as SS. But still, the govt. oughta BUILD SOME FOCKIN ROADS! with it.
