Yeah, this is awful. We need to lower rates, get rid of loopholes, and simplify the code.
For corp taxes, income taxes, and estate taxes.

For those who believe the conservatives here will hail this as a victory you would be wrong. Here we have a corporation who spends so much on accounting that they have figured out a way to avoid taxation while profiting handsomely. That's never been right. I'm actually surprised at the Kenyan's decision to bring him on board.

But if corporations pay less in tax then they have more money to invest.

Thatguy, you beat me to posting this!! I figured it would be ignored here. Congratulations .
Seriously, corporate America at this level is a sicknening disgrace. G.E. and many other corporations and banks need to be dismantled and broken up into smaller companies. Back taxes should be accessed. Crooked CEOs need to be aggressively tried and convicted criminally and civilly, Imeldt needs to be shown the door ASAP.
Obama, like Bush, is clearly a corporate stooge who has been doing as he is being told. 2/3 of his administration are corporate criminals.
Many think Corporate / government fascism is just an unfounded conspiracy theory. Not so.
Corporate power and money owns the presidency, 1/3 of the supreme court, most in Congress, most Generals and Admirals who retire and then go to cushy corporate jobs, and all the media. The worst aspect of this is the thousands of young Americans who have died or been seriously wounded fighting Corporate profit driven wars. Then these assholes have the gall to duck paying taxes on this blood money! We all have been duped for too long. I hope it is not too late to kill this corporate cancer that is destroying our nation.

    Yes.
A crook is a crook no matter how you slice it.
I am not at all surprised that O has snuggled up to this guy.
Anyone who can be that big of a carpet bagger, and do it within the current laws, is a prime recruit for O's piracy voyage....

Z is correct. In the end, no matter how much he postures, O is no different than any other crook, but he is a bigger liar and hypocrite than most. (But most of us knew that all along)

If corporations pay zero taxes, the entire burden of basic services (military, police, fire, roads, education, etc) falls on the average working man and that is not a sustainable plan.

I would suspect that if someone knowledgable- and honest- would eliminate all the loopholes that these guys exploit, the revenue generated would not only pay down some of the deficit, but would allow most businesses a tax cut.....

How much money is sucked out of our countries finacial existance by dishonesty, both big and small money....

When I brought up this very subject in the past in the PRF I was told exploiting tax loopholes was an American passtime, just like baseball.

I don't mind legit tax breaks for legit reasons, but some of that is total BS, and allows low-life scoundrels to ditch more of the tax burden on honest folk. Everyone and their maiden aunt was using that "Hummer" break a few years ago, claiming vehicles over a certain weight class as a business vehicle for a tax break. For a real business expense maybe, but a lot of smoke blowing went with it.

Obama's election theme of "Change you can believe in" or whatever it was sure seems to ring hollow now. There was hope he would be new and different. Nope, It's still the same old same old corrupt Washington DC scene.

Everyone here needs to realize that both parties are basically full of crap...they are out to give themselves power and wealth, and sadly, taking care of the US of A is secondary...most politicians are ex lawyers and other papaer-pushers, which means they are useless slimy LIARS....

Default Yeah, Corporations are sure getting screwed LMAO!!!

Read this if you still have an ounce of belief of how wonderful and beneficial greedy Corporations are to America. Americans are economically suffering....while they are making record Profits!!! Hmmmmm. I wonder if there some kind of linkage on this ???? Tax the greedy corporate MFers to the level of suffering all Americans are experiencing.
Anyone who still defends not raising taxes on the wealthy billionaires and billion dollar corporations is a Kool aide drinking patsy.
