Those of us who see without rose colored glasses and mainstream media's spin on things knew he was a great man and a wonderful leader with a very good heart and a love for America. Too bad the history books written by liberals will say otherwise but those of us who truly love America knew the truth.

It sure doesn't take you long attack liberals and then suggest they don't love America, but point out conservatives do.

He was and is an honorable man. I recall he was considered a liberal Republican. A moderate kind of Republican which is a dirty word now days. All the crazy loon conservatives running amok now would make it impossible for him to even be nominated.

    You are wrong, Z.

Most conservatives I know are very moderate. The reason you see an "upsurge" in far right rhetoric is simply to offset and attempt to neutralize the farthest left Admin. in history. (O)

On a side note: I find it appalling for O to present a medal to George Sr.
That POS O isn't qualified to wash Bush's laundry....

Why does the left wing media do this? They spend the entire time a conservative is in office villifying the man every way possible but after he leaves office they praise him with all kinds of accolades. They did it to Reagan and now to Bush 41 and I'm sure they'll do it to Bush 43. Do they do that in a lame attempt to make themselves look moderate? IMO it is another reason to despise the media as a world class collection of hypocrites that sets the hypocritical bar higher and higher.

Exactly the opposite will be true about the Kenyan after his reign of terror, lies, corruption and spending finishes. As of today, he can do no wrong in their eyes but the after-affects of this administration will leave a very bad taste (and incalculable debt) for decades to come they will be unable to deny.

Bush 41 was an accomplished and decent man. He was a careerist and a Washington insider. Any long career in public life will hit a few bumps. He had the misfortune to run for re-election during a recession. The big gripe was that he agreed with a Dem. Congress to raise taxes as part of a 5 yr. deficit reduction plan. It seems like small stuff now, but at the time it was seen as treason to Reaganomcs.
It was "Doonesbury" that started that wimp stuff, and it was always total BS.

If I recall, Bush 41 was not a fan of Reaganomics and called them "voodoo economics." You have to respect a man (especially a Republican) who calls Reaganomics what it really is. He also was smart enough to see the quagmire a full invasion of Iraq would become and wisely chose not to do it. Unfortunately his son must have inherited his reasoning abilities from his mother.

George Bush was a Open Border POS and his Amnesty push with that Rotted Corpse McCain was what put the Usurper in the Whitehouse.

He was a RINO as Jeb and Daddy!

Ronald Reagan granted amnesty to how many million illegals? Are you going to denounce him too? Don't you see, big business wants the illegals here because it a) provides a large supply of cheap labor, and b) artificially drives down wages for everyone else.

I just have to acknowledge Steve for his description of McCain as a "rotted corpse".....I respect McCain for his military service but completely disdain his time in the Senate as a waste and can't forgive him for his inept run for POTUS resuliting in the disaster in the WH......

"Rotted Corpse".....that is just so crudely hilarious.
