This Cain debacle must be doing some real harm to the Republican party with women voters. The party, the other candidates, even much of the rank and file have been virtually mum or defend him as he calls multiple independently reporting women accusers liars, goldiggers, conspirators. etc.
Political concern 1: No one knows how many hundreds of thousands of women have been harassed, groped, sexually exploited, promised jobs for sex, etc. by male supervisors in the workplace.
These women in particular and in large numbers are going to be incensed by the way Cain and the Republicans are aggressively smearing the women who come forward to report his abusive behavior.
Political concern 2: In their minds not only do Rep. candidates like Cain want to prevent them from having reproductive say over their own bodies, they circle the wagons and attack women who speak up about abuse by a Republican candidate!!
These two concerns have to be a disastrous situation for the Republicans with many women voters in a general election.
Obama's camp can't possibly be in fear of Cain and must be jumping for joy because even if he drops out as is likely, his conduct and their lack of censure taints the whole Republican party as anti-woman.
To win in the general election the Republican Party and the other candidates need to distance themselves from Cain and mend fences with women voters ASAP.
If not Obama wins a huge part of the large woman vote and probably the election.
Do any of you politically analytical guys here see this potential women voter problem ?
