After more than three years of delaying the Keystone XL pipeline, the Obama administration now delayed the pipeline until at least 2013. This mean less oil from Canada and more oil from the Middle East. It means delaying 20,000 shovel-ready jobs for Americans.

This is just one more example of the Obama administration's hostility to domestic energy production, even though oil, natural gas, and coal production is a bright spot in a dismal economy.

Yes, he wants oil to go out of sight so that he can execute his green aggenda. The people will get in line to buy the Volt and other hybrids. Solar and wind will be on the tip of his lying tongue. Then he will ask for another stimulas, when the shit hits his ethenol powered fan.

The country really needs to get rid of Hussein and his commie friends.

Interesting... With all of the GREEN interest that is being SPEWED by the left they still won’t put their money where their mouth is...

I exchanged e-mails this week with a gent that I have been talking to for nearly 10 yrs now who is a research scientist at a well known Illinois university... Over the last two days he has communicated that there is no GREEN funding available for his technology...

His technology that he developed is to make crude oil from hog manure, cow manure, human waste...

The license was sold by the university to one "investor" which has been sitting on the technology for three years now and has yet to tool up and deploy a working plant... SO the university has pulled the license back BUT there are no funds to put the full scale plant together (500k) at the university hog farm (Ag research facility)...

How much did Ohhhbammie give Solyndra AND how much did he invest in GM???

Yet this scientist cant get 500K to tool up a plant to make crude from hog manure???

Ya, Ohhbammie is green all right... Lining his cronies pocket with the green stuff...

And Al GWhore... Your a JOKE, plain and simple...

Save the planet, lets save our selves from our self... BY flying around the globe in jumbo jets and riding around in limo's to talk about global warmng and feel good EPA policies... FREAKING hypocrites... I HATE HYPOCRITES...

Our loss could be Argentina's gain? They could send the stuff by tankers, bypassing the need for permits building a pipeline ?
We still have China as the biggest consumer beating out the US on the use of energy, so we're OK, LOL.

I watched a piece on this last week and the States and landowners involved are on board. Then the CEO of Keystone said this is ALL private money and will provide thousands of jobs building and maintaining the pipeline. There will a huge spin off of revenue in all surrounding towns that the pipeline gets build near. Then there is the obvious WIN we get oil from a friend and slowly begin the wean off of Mideast Oil.
Damn People, this is the most important election I have ever experienced.

I watched Lou Dobbs recently and he listed of all the positives and there is no Negatives!!
He just ripped "o" on every point of Keystone and truthfully,I am sickened of him and his scandal ridden administration.

I asked a person I know who is a supporter, can you name one thing he has accomplished of his campaign promises. He fumbled around for a bit and then I said, nuff said.

I understand this is going to be a very rough road this year,BUT God Help Us if we get another four years.

Relax everybody! This is just a political move so he will not piss off his base and lose to a Republican. As soon as he is re-elected, he will approve the pipeline for all his corporate sponsor buddies. 12 months is nothing on a project of this magnatude. The fix is in with the big boys so don't worry.

I don't get that either. O needs unemployment and oil to go down, or he won't get elected. I can't figure out what he is thinking here.

AS soon as the Republicans get in control, they will have to allow this pipeline, because their masters, the Koch brothers, will be getting big profits from it....Always good to know our country's govt' is for sale to the highest bidder.....guess who the biggest bidders will be in the future? Soon, they will all be Communist Chinese.....Woo......hooo...? That's.......gotta make you guys happy....

Also, I see that there is going to be a lot of landowners "Eminent Domained" so they can build the pipeline....Nothing like the "Smaller Govt" taking your land, eh?

Which is worse, democrats who seek greater dependence upon the Middle East and completely shut down American oil production through moratoriums, denied permits and stalled applications or Republicans who want none of the aforementioned where the American citizens will be principal beneficiaries of the venture and want to drill here-drill now. As for land owners - I personally own multiple parcels of land and I would greatly benefit from a government purchase of my property, through eminent domain or condemnation procedures as they pay fair market value for anything they take. They have been doing this since the founding fathers drafted into the constitution that right. It has been quite useful for highways, railroads, pipelines, waterways, green belts, open spaces, etc. throughout the years. I sell land for a living and I have seen hundreds of eminent domain cases but none that ruined the landowner as you seem to believe will happen. Conversely, I have seen shady democrats like Arizona's Dennis DeConcini who was privy to the projected route of the future CAP and purchased thousands of acres in it's path benefitting from the eminent domain proceedings. You should be proud to be associated with his types who are the worst insider traders ever - the government officials.

p.s. I'm a Republican Precinct committeeman and the entire Arizona GOP party has never received received a dime from a Koch Brothers donation although the Arizona Democrat party has received huge donations from multiple unions around the country and State. Your information is way skewed and you are starting to sound like poor 'ol z who has lost all credibility.

Wake up and smell the gas prices. Energy dependence is not a bad thing just because democrats hate the idea.

Doc and everyone, I totally agree with your perception of the Kenyan trying to destroy this country 'overall', but for what purpose we have yet to find out..... BUT! just in case some of you dont already know this, that the BIGGEST (by far) importer of oil to the US is none other than CANADA!... Yes it is totally true, and they may be our allies and friends and America's hat and all that... but they are making BIG money on ALL of us and laughing all the way to the bank, while we continue to blame the mid-east for all our gas woes.

So just be careful of what you wish for.

It's no secret, and they are laughing all the way to the bank.
    Why is that??
The U.S. is the only oil and gas producing Nation in the world that acts ashamed of it.

Don't forget to include all the Canadian operators extracting here in the U.S. and in effect selling our own resources back to us.

Every single client I have worked for in the past 5 years + is Canadian based.
Been preaching this on here forever.

    Here is some interesting tidbits.

That an indisputable fact! So, why not build a pipeline from Canada to our refineries which would expedite that crude, reduce transportation costs, and employ hundreds of thousands of employees in a time when unemployment is running insanely rampant? That's the purpose of this pipeline - to reduce our overall costs, to expedite delivery from our number one source and to reduce our dependence upon the overly-volatile Middle East.

The only reason to NOT build it is because the Kenyan is blocking it. Explaining why would be nearly impossible.
