    Default Do it ourselves budget!

As an intellignt change from the usual complaining and name calling. I think this post deserves it's own thread!

If each American could designate his preference on spending his tax payment we would have more honest form of governmant based on money allocation by the people. I posted mine below. It would be interesting to see how others would designate their tax dollars.

In my case I would be happy if my tax money was spent as follows:

(1st criteria would be zero for foreign aid and corporate subsidies).

10% for military (downsizing as goal)

10% for science / medical reserch

10% for illegal alien removal & US border security

20% for national infrastructure roads, parks etc.

20% education (no $ for college sports, that should be privately funded)

10% valid social programs: Soc. Security , medical care, etc.

5 % agressive prosecution of political corruption / corporate fraud / welfare fraud

    15% paying off debt

    Default Cowboy Poetry....

Z, if it eliminates any funding for senile Harry's "Cowboy Poetry Museum".. I'll join your effort.. I would however add, or deduct from somewhere, a small percentage to repay the stolen SS retirement funds, and remove those funds from the general gov't purse.... I'd say yes as long as there was a +/- 2-3% for yearly flexibility.... Oh, and some sort of balanced budget LAW, AND another LAW with real teeth to prosecute any Senate majority leader that fails to bring a budget to the Senate floor on TIME...

Cool Ideas! Why don't you break down in percentages your tax allocations like I did? I really am interested how real people would do this. You too Thatguy ! Thanks

    Awesome Z!!

My big time write offs got me down to around 28%-32% this year! (Not counting 2 State liabilities)

So far, it's looking like I MIGHT come in under 6 figures to Sam this year!!

(I'm covered though, already been extorted to the tune of close to $80K into the whirlpool of spending....)

Great ! The "Do it ourselves budget" would allow bigger taxpayers like you more honest influence on the budget priorities they want which is only fair
Unfortunately poor people would have a very minimal say since they do not pay federal taxes...Bummer. But I'm sure other Americans will look out for their needs within their tax designations. I think I designated 10% for social services stuff. Of course our crooked politicians and their wealthy donors will have a cow not being able to work the designated tax money as freely for personnel profit as they currently do.

I actually suggested this at mid terms for CA State tax...and was advised that there was no good reason to "martyr" myself.

(I had a check wrote for around $10K for State liability, and suggested that I would mail it if I could "earmark" it's spending)

Step up Forkin'! You are a successful tax payer farmer. (Anyway, I think you pay taxes ). What % would you designate and to what? You are in the drivers seat with your tax payment! You could disignnate 100% to social services welfare if you wanted to.

I only pay taxes if I can't find a corporate loop hole!!!

As far as my %.... Someone has to pay for the EBT cards that are issued. Other wise there would be riots in the streets!

That was a joke (trap), but like you wouldn't do it? Remember it is "patriotic" to pay taxes. OH SHIT! I forgot! You don't work, so you don't pay any taxes!!!!

How is that EBT working out for you?
