Default Besides Revolution; what are the best suggestions to help resolve America's dilemma

I don't have any suggestions but would like to do more than wait to vote REPUBLICAN next year. While traditionally I have not been party motivated; I feel strongly as an American that Obama must go. This is definately not about race for me at this point.

Looking for realistic options and ideas on how to assist and do more than WAIT. Somebody intelligent make a few suggestions. I feel like we are on a giant bus sinking into a lake and everyone on board as well as the spectators are waiting for someone to make a move.

The best move would be to order ALL the obama supporters to the FRONT of the bus, and open an Emergency escape door in the BACK of the bus.... Kinda like the bus full of lawyers that went over a cliff, the real tragedy was an empty seat!!!!

Write, e-mail and FAX your local POLS.

Vote, keep people around you aware of the truth, even the brainwashed ones can be saved. I've converted a few myself. The ones here are just to dumb.

#1, be informed. There is a large body of work here, where we have hashed out the issues of the day, try reading some. And when I say be informed, I don't mean just turn off CBS, and watch FOX. You are going to have to develop your own stance on every issue, hopefully conservative, but maybe not. Then seek out conservative candidates and support them. The letter (R) after the name doesn't necessarily mean they are conservative, or that you should agree with them. Maybe you should educate them. Be prepared to speak to them:"I am a job creating entrepeneur, and these are my concerns........."
Be prepared to speak to anyone you meet, coherently, on the issues by having an informed opinion.
If you go to a TEA party rally, you might have a camera in your face, be ready.

Most of the people you run into will probably think a lot like you on most of the issues. But mostly they are pretty uninformed. With some theirs minds are mush. It doesn't take that much to get informed, read a paper, not just the headlines, read the whole 500 word article. Takes 2 minutes. Most people can't be bothered. They don't have ideas as much as half-formed notions and impulses. If you read TIME or Newsweek, be aware of possible bias, after you read the story, say to yourself, hey, does that square with what I've learned from my experience in real life?

Right before the 08 election a reasonable guy told me he was gonna vote for O. He asked me, "Don't you think this country needs a change?" I'm gonna have to track him down.

I have been guilty of going through life and avoiding the news in the past for the most part. A "mushhead". It is draining to wade through all the bullshit that is being stated or mis-stated. More like the OJ trial these days than really cutting to the heart of the matter.

Most try to shuck and jive instead of hitting things head on. It is what is needed and you provided solid advice.

    Thanks

Revolution is not that far out of the question anymore. It's pretty sad actually it has evolved to that degree.

The first thing that comes to my mind is not legal to discuss. The ways of the flesh trying to over ride the ways of the spirit.

An obvious sign of how bad it has become.

As of late, I've taken the same approach. Watching the news or getting involved with political discussions puts me in a piss poor mood and makes me a prick to be around. So I avoid it and focus on the things that I can currently affect and those that I care about.

I'm right there with you especially on the internet. I would rather talk to someone face to face to point out the deficiencies of this administration mostly by giving them examples in their day to day life. Here in California, that's not a very difficult thing to do given the way this once great State is compared to what it used to be.

Two good friends of mine, one neighbor, on ehis side kick. Both major libs.

One open minded, one brainwashed college degree slacker.

Open minded now much more conservative, the slacker still blames Bush for him losing his job during the Clinton administration???????. He now lives with his parents, in his late thirties. A true liberal.

BAM! Human nature will not allow what is happening slowly but surely. It never has in the past.
Your witnessing reverse slavery. The government has developed a class of people that do not, and will not fend for themselves, demanding the those that do, house, feed, and provide medical care for them, along with the others that work for the "system" that sees to it that the system continues to roll along. All are 100% totally dependent on the "work force" to provide.

We are almost exactly where we were in 1940. The world is trembling with unrest, and financial collapse due this system of "providing". We support unrisings, and revolutions around the world. Even providing military support as needed. I fiugure we are either due for our own "unrest", or a global one. My thoughts and beliefs lean towards the global one, which may very well include an internal one either just before, during, or immediately following.

#1 is you acknowledge and recognize there is a problem and also identify the root of the problem....Obama and his Administration.

Now is time to learn all you can as to what is going one and what is being down to shut "O" and his clowns down.

Come here often and read through the links posted, sign up on Conservative blog/news sites and get the links sent directly to you. Sign online petition (however I don't pay for Blast Faxes any more) or donate to every one of them either.

Check out the Canadian Free Press....Canada has had "O"s number since the get go and isn't afraid to post the truth about him.

Once you get started on one Conservative site you will start receiving all of them...Pick and choose which you want and unsubscribe the others.

Share what your new found knowledge with other to empower them to do the same. Read articles about the Stolen SS# "O" is using, question his eligibility to be POTUS and research why he is NOT Constitutionally Eligible.

I would say do a search for "O" past but at best all you will find is his IL Senator Voting Record...."Present"

Now when you truly see how jacked up this guy is you will want to invest in the future and Lead could be very valuable about Nov 2012 when ACORN, SEIU, UAW and a few others do their best to get "O" re elected with quadruple Mickey, Mini, Goofy and a few million dead people.

My suggestion would be a good quality AK or AR15 Carbine and a couple thousand rounds or ammo. Mossberg 500A or Mariner 12 GA. and some #2 or better Federal Mag Buck Shot and a Ruger SR9c or SR40c and some extra 15 round mags...I prefer the 40 over the 9MM myself.

LED flash lights, extra batteries, indoor propane heater, water, Top Ramien and what ever else has a shelf life.

Prepare for the worse case now as it is hard to get caught up after the SHTF and stuff has been Banned.....What the heck...if it doesn't happen you have toys you can sale off or enjoy shooting.

    That is a sorta start.

I see the big corporate money driven status quo as the problem. Both major parties are part and parsel of this status quo. Upsetting the entrenched big money driven status quo will be nearly impossible. The only realistic action most of us can legally take to make a change is voting for choices who are pre-determined by the big money status quo!!
However, if so inclined one can attend a Tea Party rally or an OWS civil disobediance. One can even get a bullhorn and go to the town square!
If you want to do more and have money to donate, think about stopping the big corporate money driven status quo by giving your money to a politician who has not been purchased by the self serving big money interests that are tanking this nation.
Me? I will at only vote for someone who is not in the back pocket of big money interests. So far that only seems to be Jon Huntsman and Ron Paul.
Good luck with your effort to do something proactive
