    Default Jon Huntsman

Look back at how the GOP nomination has worked in the past. Guys pay their dues over time, and then they get their shot. This happened with Nixon, Regan, Bush 41, Dole, McCain, and now with Romney. Let me be the first to announce who the candidates for President will be in 2016: Hillary Rodham Clinton for the Democrats, and Jon Huntsman for the GOP.

I think you are correct on Hillary! Not sure on Huntsman. Unless the Republicans instantly become more moderate and ditch the extreme Tea Party / Evangelical faction, I doubt Huntsman will be their nominee now or then. I think now is an important time for a moderate like Huntsman. Hopefully Gingrich and Romney will frag each other out. This would leave Huntsman as the best well rounded Republican hope who could actually unite Dems, Indys, and Republicans.

The reason I say Huntsman is because after Romney looses this year, his political career is over. The GOP likes people with previous campaign experience running for the nomination, so it will be between Bachman, Santorum, Huntsman, and Newt. Newt is too old, and won't be picked. Bachman is a nutjob. Santorum is a religious whacko. Huntsman is the only hope to woo moderates, which the GOP will have to do in 2016, much like the GOP shot callers realize they need now, which is why they picked Mitt. In 4 years, Huntsman will have one attempt under his belt, and it will be his time to make a run. Notice how all the other candidates besides Romney have had serious flaws exposed, but not Huntsman. While he might not have much support, he has navigated the treacherous waters unscathed. He's the guy in 2016.
