    Default 1" prop bore modification

    Anyone successfully had there V drive prop bored/reamed deeper so it will go further up on the shaft?

    Didn't know if the reamer would push off because of the keyway and possibly cause some runout of the blades.

    trim your prop shaft the desired amount and you don't have to worry about a 7k-9krpm bomb spinning under your boat

    I have one prop , (2 blade), that is already close enough to the strut. I have other props that are as much as .572 " from the strut and a Precision 2 blade that is .690" away. It seems odd that they vary so much.
