    On my 21" Howard with a blown 540 I use a Menkens 2 blade 11 1/2 X 16 with good results. I run 48% gears in the v-drive.

Best to have a minimum 3- blade propeller..

On my 572 Blown Spectra I run a 10 7/8 3 blade Menkins 15 with 45 gears, Blows out if I hammer it from a dead with only one person in it in second gear, other than that works great everywhere else. The main thing with me is NO bow steer and totally straight slowing down from a 100 mph blast. If I'm on plane I hammer it the boat just rocks, no torque pull either, you can just about take your hands off the wheel. That's the kind of I look for in a prop on a pleasure / performance V-Drive. Phil a Bergren Marine in Arizona, they are aces, or Harold Kindswater. you want the proper rake on a bigger day cruiser to get the proper rear end lift.
