Prop Slip Calculator | Propellers | Mercury Racing

You need to inverse the gear ratio to work for V-drives
    i.e. a 15 over gear is 1/ 1.15= .87
plug in the info you get prop testing
you need a GPS and a accurate tach

This gives you the ability to chart the props performance!
and play what if I plug 7500 rpm in, I erase the old speed and press calc again

Thread is a little old, but I created a prop calculator specifically for V-drives, because the Mercury one is a little tricky to use with overdrive ratios- Prop Slip Calculator |
