    Default LODBRS Havasu annoucement

Lucas official announced yesterday that at the upcoming October Havasu race ALL classes from pwc thru tfh will run a 1000 ft course. Believe this is in reaction to past history of rollers in the shutdown area and problems with the winds. that last sentence is my opinion only.

    Default Division 1 Indexes

The First race at Parker the indexes were all ready set at 6.00 QE, 6.35 PE, 7.00 TE, 8.00 ME and 9.00 SE Also at Dexter,Oregon when the 1/4 mile lights were having an issue. They were said to have been approved by LUCAS OIL without any problems with those who attended. Irvine was the same also at 1000'. I think the racers should have an input for our Division 1 indexes.

What do you think Racers and not Internet Racers

Well sounds like racers are going to have to build more horse power or detune to run the slower class. Or they just quit all together which in turn would suck. Maybe someone at LODBRS should look at the latter, they are the backbone of any sport. Without them the sport dies. Sounds like a bunch of liberals from calif, screw the small guy thier nothing attitude. Leave the 1320 guys alone. And I am a racer. Robert

I run 9.00's all day long inTE 1320'. Every 1000' race 7.00 without any adjustments. Just my 02 cents.

    Thumbs down

    6.00 QE, 6.35 PE, 7.00 TE, 8.00 ME and 9.00 SE

These indexes above for 1000' have always been pretty close. Been that way at smoking in the cove for years. Minus the PE at 6.35.

    The proposed indexes are crap.

A guy trying to run 8.50 1000' for SE is really going to be tough if he is all out to run an 11.00 in the quarter.

That seems like a bunch crap. Why not stick with the standard which we are all used to?

I am an S/E guy and i still think 8.50 is a bit much for us. I mite be 1 of 2 S/E guys that can run under that number in 1000 ft.
I dont understand why they are messing with the numbers that have worked for all the other clubs

    Default Are you for real?

Hope it stays that way. Why reinvent the Indexes when they were just fine at PARKER. Thanks for the last update BP. I hope you are able to make this race.
