Hey Folks, I watched some video of the races.........Just have to ask..........The video where the 6 liters ran with the K's, I noticed the 6 liter 123 boat ran very well. That's because it's a new to the USA class.... The Aussy guys have been running the 6 liter deals for a while, in fact, I think those boats are Aussy owned, not sure...

They are Dodge small blocks. The motors are aspirated. Single carburetor. They were part of the Penske Motor Lease Plan for NASCAR.
They did awesome against blown-alky Chevy motors.

Thanks you guys, for answering my question...............very interesting to know he ran like that with a carb'ed ....lets just call it a small block. Makes one wonder how fast one would run with a Hendricks engine with the FI just like it would be set in Kevin Harvick's #4 car...Anyway again, Many Thanks

Food for thought. How about a different course? More laps? The 6 liters are at a huge disadvantage at the start.
I'm impressed with these boats. In Australia they have to more classes with more horsepower packages. They are set up totally different then our way of thinking. They run off the flywheel.
