Havasu and Topock about to be devasted by Eco terrorists.
Here we go the Eco terrorists are at it again. Now they want to make it no wake from Topock to Havasu to protect the wildlife. Yeah right! Just more control and running people out of places to enjoy themselves. It would take 3.5 hours with no wake to make the trip. Pirates and Topock say it will close them in one season. Not to mention the cost to Lake Havasu's boating mecca and restaurants. Time for everyone to get on the state and federal officials. AS one who has been politically active in these matters I can tell you, we need to start now and demand to see empirical data and reports from the Eco group to substantiate their claims, before they can get one oar in the water so to speak. Trust me, just say it won't happen and ignore it, then you will be floored when it does. Because if we ignore it, it will happen.
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, one of three Federal Agencies that has control/management responsibilities over the Havasu Refuge area has proposed in a draft Compatibility Determination (CD) document new and expanded no wake zones within its Refuge boundaries. The CD does not, however, propose a 17.5 mile no wake zone for the main channel of the Refuge. The two areas of new no wake concern are the Topock Marsh area north of the I-40 Bridge and the Arizona portion of the lake on the southern end of the Refuge where river and lake converge. The problem facing boaters is the willingness of Fish and Wildlife to implement new no wake zones without following the mandated protocols under Federal law for public input. In plain English -- this is really about government over-reach. There are three public meetings about the CD draft coming up on Monday, May 2 at the Lake Havasu Aquatic Center from 6pm to 8pm, followed by two more public meetings on Tuesday, May 3 at the AVI Resort and Casino at 1 to 3pm and 6 to 8pm. Concerned boaters should attend those meetings and be prepared to express their opposition. Public input is also being accepted by the Fish and Wildlife office in Needles, CA via mail and email until May 12, 2016. Boaters do need to get involved in the process in order to protect their rights of access and use.
Lets close the lake and shoot the people with boats. I mean a F-n RACING boat burned up and probably killed some bluegill. Or hey lets take the picture to Ashe the F-in asshole that wants to close the gorge and make F-in sure he has more ammo. F-in brilliant. For shit sake.
Pretty clear they are just arbitrarily closing down our lake.

Fish and Game, the EPA and the assholes trying to do this like a flying bulldozer. You heard the representative, " so you didn't have any kind of public comment period you just closed the lagoon area?" No answer. I hope everyone heard where this is really coming from, THE F-IN CANOE AND PADDLE BOARD PEOPLE. They want to have the gorge all to themselves. Let me tell you if you are one of the canoe, kayak geeks trying to get this done, " this is Arizona and you will piss off more of the wrong people here than you can imagine. I wouldn't give five F-in cents for your canoe, kayak or ass in that gorge if you get this rammed through." Big canyon walls and remote areas are conducive to retribution. I can guarantee you assholes that the people who live here and use this lake/gorge will not let it slide by without retribution. Think hard before you run to your friend at the agency and push for this. I for one am damn sure one of the wrong people who will be pissed off beyond all recognition. I can't even imagine how the people that just sank a half million in Topock or the people at Pirates will react. So before you go kiss assing up to your buddy at wherever figure out how to paddle 80 MPH or fast than a bullet you dumb shit, selfish, inconsiderate pig.
