Default Calero Drag Boat Exhibition/Shootout August 27th

    Hey all:
This show looks like it's a go!! Water is there and permits in place. Santa Clara Parks department requires all boats show current CF #s and unfortunately due to the mussel regulations, only boats from north of Kern county are allowed. Not perfect, but the best water that could be found after Chowchilla was no longer an option. Go to http://californiahotboat.wixsite.com...ornia-hot-boat for registration forms and reach out to Dave at 559 431-4424 with any questions. Let's support this event and try to get some interest generated for drag boat racing in Nor Cal!!

Used to go to Calero all the time before it became an "in-n-out" ruled lake.... Then I just started skiing there with my rope, ski and a sign around my neck that said "Pull me and I PAY 4 gas" ---- thats also when gas was just under a buck a gallon!!!

Could be a good venue, but 'limiting' your SPECTATORS???? and requiring CF# and mussle inspections/stickers on competition boats??? Thats the problem when you get Gov agency/Parks and Rec people involved that dont understand how things like this operate.

But anything is worth a try... just wish these promoters would get together and try to 'work together' on certain venues that LIKE hot-boating and hot boaters! ----- (CFW) ------
