New to the sport of drag boat racing but not to motorsport racing. We've done circle cars (pavement & dirt) for the past 24 years and still doing it now, but we've added a drag boat in the stable. I'm hoping you can answer a couple questions for me about the registration form. I understand the membership form and it's $275 fee for the year, but on the registration form it states 1st entry is $275 and then it states 2nd entry (which has all the different classes printed out) is $155.

So if we want to register in the 10 second class (ME), do I just fill in on the 1st entry line for the class I choose and just pay $275 for the weekend or do I have to pay the $275 (1st entry) plus a $155 (2nd entry because the 10 sec. class) which adds up to $430? (ouch) Also does "ME" stand for modified eliminator and does it have to be put on your boat by the number? ....... Thank you.

    Hello People
    BAD NOTION
The entry form says 1st choice and second choice have different rates.
If you want to just run the ten second bracket, its your 1st choice $275, your entry fee for that race is $275.00, but you need to become a member of the club. Membership for the year $250
As far as the number on your boat, you need to check with NJBA to see if its available and no class marking is required on the boat number.
You will have a ball racing with us and you will probably register to two classes the second time you come.

    Willis,

Thank you for your reply, it's greatly appreciated. If our sprint car racing doesn't financially burden us too much this season, you'll most likely see us at Ming with our boat for a race or two. Keep it safe!

Default 50 ft or 125 ft?

Is NJBA leaving the starting line unchanged or going to change it like Lucas did?

Nothing yet has been discussed, we'd like to have a race up North at CFW if possible and also a race down south at Elsinore. But nothing has been moved forward on. Both locations require a lot of planning and logistics. As soon as we can have something substantial we will let you guys know and it will be posted up on NJBARACING.COM
